Sagaris buying advice required
Discussion
Right fully said and yes i could have bought somethig a lot different yet for me the looks of the Sag is to die for
Bought what i believe was the best car on the market, could have saved money and bought the black one at Str8six with less miles yet went for the more expensive one
Nice to hear from someone who understands the difference between n/a and turbo power delivery
As i said would rather be in the Sag for long distance driving than any other car i have, also rather than throwing caution to the wind i joined AA You never know lol

And let's not forget when the Sagaris was released it was up against the Ferrari 360 and 996 GT3,
The Sag was quicker than the 360 (big disappointment) and 96 Gt3 I tested, to compare it with 458s, 991 Gt3s etc is a little unfair, it's 10 years old now remember.
Where is this going i did not say this and neither did GreenBangit The Sag was quicker than the 360 (big disappointment) and 96 Gt3 I tested, to compare it with 458s, 991 Gt3s etc is a little unfair, it's 10 years old now remember.
I did not buy it for speed i bought it for its stunning looks all else is a bonus
firstly and foremost i would like to take this window of opportunity to apologise to the TVR Sagaris owners SORRY i got it wrong
On Thursday i bought the Sag of Graham i was very tired (i had no sleep on Tuesday and very little sleep on Wednesday) the drive back was difficult at times due to lack of sleep and perhaps my thoughts were clouded
Today we went out on a tunnel blast and i took the Sag,wow it sounded out of this world. So the Sag has incredible looks and now it has an amazing sound too. A quick stop for fuel and we all decide why not do the Evo Triangle,so the triangle it was! I have only had the Sag two days and only drove it Thursday mostly motorway so this was time to test it.So throwing caution to the wind i went for it,i was blown away at how well this car drives, how well it holds the road and YES it is much much much quicker than i initially said,i gave it everything i could, and lets not forget i have never driven a TVR before yet it felt like i have been aquatinted to this car for a lifetime!!
Very impressed with the power with the handling with the noise with how smooth it drives and most importantly with the looks
This Sag has got to be my car of choice after today. What a car what a drive out what a day 320 miles of euphoria
By the way its up there with the 360 and maybe it will nail it too!!
SORRY once more
Thanks you all for the well wishes and oil recommendations
Ernie321 it was a pleasure having you onboard,on reflection we should have gone a little slower yet we couldn't let an opportunity like the triangle slip by without testing our cars and our ability to drive, hope you understand
By the way you met 'green bandit' hope he wasn't a patronising w****r lol

Yep, to keep them flying you need to be in the right gear and not let the engine labour, it's not like driving a lazy V8,
They loved to be revved,
Thanks for advice but honesty i have driven many n/a cars,it was only matter of finding the right road They loved to be revved,
The Sag is an awesome car and i cant wait until the next run out as i will be pushing it harder than ever before :-)

I agree with this, the 3.6 really doesn't have much low down torque but the 4.3 and 4.5 do. They're cracking engines and have a very unique and grin inducing sound to them
OP - Glad you're enjoying her and shes going to get used properly, very jealous of the rest of your stable as well, especially the Diablo. A couple of my favourite drives have been following behind PHer Shoebags Orange VT and it's one of my dream cars, now sadly way out of reach given the price rises over the last few years

The Diablo SV is a very difficult car to drive especially on norrow roads, negotiating bends and committing your self to high speeds followed by harsh breaking is not as easy and requires a lot of talent. The Diablo is a good GT car but not the best car in the stable for back roads.
The Sagaris nails the twists and sharp bends car feels well planted and the sterring comes into its own, breaking hash isn't a problem and power is good too, couldnt keep up with the green bandit, the superleggera and 997 pdk turbo but the Sag came a very close second considering no driver aids no 4WD no trick suspension not to mention the e gear/ turbos etc
Sag kept me on a knife edge trying to keep up with the above mentioned especially as it was my first time out on a proper run
Long live the Sag 😊

... this is exactly what I hoped to see! Someone using the car as intended and really enjoying it. It is a fantastic car that can be as fun and rewarding to drive as anything else when you venture off to find the right roads.
I was very sad to see her go
Cheers
Graham
And i am very happy to own her :-) I was very sad to see her go
Cheers
Graham
