i think it is definately going to be silver, with just an outside chance of a black or a BRG pearl colour.

apache, i would have a small wager on this basis

I saw a silver (pearly) Tamora yesterday at Castle TVR. Have to say the colour looks quite nice on the car.
I reckon a dark blue would be a nice choice..

black has been BANNED (apparently).

I reckon he saw my previous Tuscan in the service department at TVR and decided to go for that colour (PINK).

Wrong again benno, not silver
or pink

Get a test drive, get you're deposit down with Jamer and I'll tell you what colour mine is so we won't clash.

No drive and deposit , No telling

Not so sure about that James. I think if someone put their foot down they would do it in black but I don't think it would work very well. What colour would the interior be? Black?

Red with red/black interior would look good. The silver ones I saw in the factory looked very good. Viper GTS blue with black/blue interior looked very nice. I think they look nice in yellow but you either love or hate yellow don't you?

I think most colours look nice on the car but for some reason I wouldn't have anything except black/other colour inside the car. I saw a couple with grey hide and it looked horrible. There are some hideous colour swatches in the TVR book, has anyone asked for the white hide yet?

A couple of years ago, Hawthorns had a Gloss Black Cerbera 4.5 with a Cardinal Red interior throughout - possibly an aquired taste, but if you're going to have a nutter car...

Biscuit is a good interior colour with Blues (Imperial Blue & Cosmos work well).
Portland Grey works well with Greens and other dark metallics.

all IMHO, of course...

Everyone keeps saying it but I wonder how can TVR "refuse" to sell a black Tamora? A metallic reflex black with a "lairy" red or purple interior could look excelent... R.

whilst they won't let the dealers spec. black for their demos I reckon they will let customers (in much the same way as the first Tuscan demos HAD to have 16" wheels but, as the first Hawthorns customer, I got the 18"ers).

I do think black cerbera's and Tuscan's look awesome, but I'm not sure it would look good on a Tamora. For some reason it's a very colour sensitive car. I'd love to have the software that could show you what different colours would look like on the car before you pick. It's always hard when its a brand new car and you haven't seen a particular colour on it. Mr Agger, over to you?

I was at the factory on Tuesday. I reckon half the Tamoras coming out are silver. It does suit silver - but lets face it - it is common. ( Most Boxsters are silver too btw). The green reflex used on the 4.5 Cerbera Red Rose factory demo looks the gods (dogs) bollocks. Apart from silver, it looks like most cars have been specced in blue - Viper / Rolex or Lotus. They are quite nice. Danielle confirmed that the factory is actively steering customers away from black - they just don't want to do them. But if its a case that they will lose an order - you can have it. Incidentally, since the black Tuscan S (S6 TVR) press car has been widely seen in the likes of Top Gear - they are doing loads of black Tuscans now - everyone wants a 'Batmobile'.

I saw a particulaly excellent colour - Ferrari Titanium pearl. Its more of a pewter than silver and looks like liquid metal - absolutely stunning. I doff my cap to the person who specced that!

On a separate note, I had a good look at the Swordfish Tuscan. The boys at the factory do have a sense of humour - there was a recall notice on the top of the dashboard saying: "Product recall- Identification of problem - bullet holes".

Obviously blowing our own trumpet but we think our Tamora In Jazz blue met with grey and blue bison trim looks fabulous! If I were more computer literate I'd proably be able to post some photos somewhere. Also for the record this car drives as well as, if not better than it looks!! Twenty plus years of TVR involvement and I can Honestly say this is the best new TVR I've ever driven. If your local dealer has got their car get along asap to see and drive it, it is superb!

Hmmmn, off to the dealers Monday for first service, might see if I can strong arm their Tamora off them for a while.

Could be costly though...

At last!! Thanks for doffing you're cap mate!! That's my colour!! Danielle was dying for someone to spec one up in that colour and I thought it looked superb. Was the one you saw a Tamora in that colour or a Tuscan, because I was told no-one had specced a Tamora in Titanium pearl until I did????
