I spoke with Simon when looking for mine, although I bought another one before I had a chance to visit. Really straight forward guy, happy to answer all question.

The Cat C of D thing is a good point and worth checking thoroughly but only if it was registered in France. If it stayed on British plates then this couldn’t happen.

You’re welcome to have a look round mine after lockdown. From memory you’re in Essex. I’m in Bromley so probably half way to Fernhurst’s.

I don't know this car personally, but to the OP - of the dozen or so TVRs I have owned, the two T350Ts were by far and away the best all round packages for me. Fernhurst have a great reputation in the TVR world so I would fully expect them to prepare and present the car the right way.

Thanks for your replies.
Your offer to look your car is very kind and if you don’t mind I may well take you up on it, maybe on the way to the viewing?
For me it’s great that the car is for sale at Fernhurst, as you the cars they have look beautifully prepared and I’m sure the same goes for the T350.
All I can do is sit tight and wait for the lockdown to ease and I’ll make my way down to view. It’s still a big decision as I love the car I’ve already got but once I can drive both back to back hopefully I can decide what to do with no regrets.
Thanks again, have a great weekend.

I
I know this thread is not regarding my current car but this is it.
It’s a great car but I possibly fancy a change.
Best regards

You too Doug. Send me a PM nearer the time and we’ll make plans.
PS. That does look really nice but the T350 is another level.

^^^^^ Much appreciated I will hopefully be in touch nearer the time, it would be great to know exactly what to look for before the viewing.
Take it easy and keep safe.

I had an exact same T350T that I sold a few years ago. L13TVR was the plate, maybe it’s the same car. Feel free to pm me if it is?

I enquired on that T350T earlier in the year. Found them very pleasant and professional to deal with. Did not end up viewing in person due to lockdown. From the photos I thought it was one of the best looking colour combinations I have seen.
The French history put me off a bit but it seemed well attended to and was certainly not a deal breaker. From memory it has been back in England for several years and looked after by Fernhurst, which is big plus but I was concerned at the lack of use during the last 6 years (only couple of hundred miles I think). A few niggles on the interior (mainly discoloured carpet on transmission tunnel) would have meant money needed spending for it not to annoy me which I felt was not reflected in the asking price. Stunning car though.
I ended up getting a Tamora and very happy I did, absolutely fantastic car and great with the roof down. Proper open top motoring and I think some of the awkward styling that people moan about gets lost in darker colours. Good luck whatever you buy!

^^ Thanks for your post. Seems like you went through the exact dilemma that I’ve got now.
Great looking car, but with apparently a couple of bits to do ( Fernhurst were totally upfront about the interior when I spoke with them ) I’m kind of over the French thing now but would honestly really prefer if it was TVR specialist serviced from new.
I can’t view until the end of lockdown and as time is creeping on it’s becoming the worst time to sell my current car, which I collected yesterday after having a couple of jobs completed.
Interesting you went for a Tamora in the end, again a beautiful looking car.
I’m aiming to view asap, just bad timing really.
Thanks again for your thoughts.
Very best regards and keep safe.

I love the T350 shape, not as aggressive but much cleaner than a Sagaris. Being fortunate enough to have a few other cars to enjoy, I always liked the idea of a T350T as could not really justify another car with a roof and thought the targa a good half way house between fixed roof and convertible. Speaking to other owners though I heard about wind noise etc and just thought I should go for a proper convertible instead. So even though I preferred the look of a T350 I went with the Tamora over say a Tuscan 2. Also Tamora was much cheaper than the other options and for me a better car. Several of my petrol head friends have driven it and we all agree it’s one of the best cars out there. Here is mine.

I can understand why you bought it. Great looking car.
If I didn’t already have a convertible which I’m embarrassed to say don’t take the roof off very often a Tamora would definitely be in the running.
I kept looking st the blue one in the classified section which would suit me but I fancy a change from a convertible, although I can’t understand why it hasn’t sold as it looks like a really nice car.
That’s the good thing about TVRs - a car for everyone!
Is the interior black as well?

The blue one is a fantastic car, by the look of it now sold.
I think the Tamora is so underrated and that may be why they don’t fetch bigger money. Great for anyone who wants and appreciates a serious drivers’ car as I cannot think of many similarly priced alternatives.
The only reason I did not go for the T350T was that I felt it a compromise against a full convertible and decided that was what I wanted. Sounds like you should go ahead and pull the trigger??😁

I hadn’t checked but am not surprised that the blue one sold. I would of thought it would of gone quicker but maybe the market is not as big as we think!
I’m definitely going to have a look at the T350t and hope my emotions don’t take over!
I’m still happy with the car I have and it was given a clean bill of health last week with literally nothing left to do so maybe a stupid time to change, but I can’t help feeling a T350 would suit me better.
In hindsight it’s the worse time of year to do anything regarding these cars and with the second lockdown it’s dragging it out further. Hopefully all will be back to normal soon and I can view and see if it is in fact for me........ or not.
Best regards

The blue one has just reappeared on Fernhurst's website. No idea where it went but it's back.
Nota 'T' but it does look very nice. This is the one I was lining up to view but found another in the meantime.
If the wheels aren't your bag, Simon was very amenable to putting a set of spiders on.
Ah.... just noticed, it says 'deposit taken'. But then why is it on here again?

Fernhurst do seem easy to deal with.
I think it was Simon I spoke with, very helpful honest chap.
I’ve seen a few with reversing cameras which seems like a good idea.
