As you said, you've only just joined, slagging people off before you know the crack is something only a 'burk' would do

Read all the replies in the last month and you will follow what I mean.
I also have no idea when it will be ready but am prepared to wait for a car that is the mutts on a track day but you can take the roof off/panels out.
At the moment I have a 996 targa which does not light any fires anywhere even with a can of optimax and a box of matches given to it!

Sounds like a troll to me...anyway, I think I should point out it's normally spelled "berk"

You are doing a pretty good job of winding people up already, you will never win with that kind of remark. Flasher has a wealth of knowledge to do with TVR's and as such he is widely respected.

You sound like a "Queen", coming on here and bitching before you know anyone.

How do you know whether I "deserve" my car or not?

Just what Pistonheads needs, another dreamer....

Oh dear...

Not an auspicious start, eh T350T?

I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking a swift retraction might be in order.

That's the great thing about this site. It's not at all cliquey. No, wait . I must be thinking of somewhere else.

How dare someone new dream of having an opinion about the high and mighty regulars? Let's all shout them down until they get fed up with the site and leave it to the ordained few to enjoy.

Right Mr T350T...

Here's an explanation for you so you can try to understand where I'm coming from...

The whole debate on here kicked off a while back when *999* posted that his car would be ready in May. Having just been to the factory around the time of the original post and been talking to some of the TVR people I knew that there was absolutley no chance of that happening. I guess my original posts on the subject were a bit sarcastic, but that was probably because I knew a lot more than I was letting on.

Then *999* accused me of only ordering a T350C because I couldn't wait for the T version. This isn't true. Having driven a Tuscan with the centre section out (and the rear screen in) I didn't want the targa because I hated the buffetting and booming over 70mph and felt (and still do) that it would make the car unstable and uncomfortable at high speeds (particularly track days).

I also thought (and still do) that the roof would be very fiddly (it will be), that it would leak (it will) and that I didn't want to spend an extra £2000 on what is essentially a sunroof. That is my personal opinion based on my experiences and knowledge of owning several TVR's. I also feel, after owning five TVR's that aircon would still be an absolute must, which would take the cost to over £43,000. I didn't want to spend much more than £40K.

I actually think the car will look awesome and for those of you who have ordered one, I really hope they get them delivered soon.

Unfortunatley you seem to have missed the debate by several weeks....so lets just get back to leaving this open for when someone has some concrete news rather than turning it into a pathetic slanging match again. We are all getting a fed up of it....
