I had forgotten about this thread - done so much since then!

I still love the LED's, and the HID headlights are great, so bright compared to standard.

Cheers Andy?? I looked high and low for the orginal one I bought back in April but no luck...no doubt the motha will turn up as soon as the new one arrives..at least I'll have a spare!

Chris: agreed the HIDs are the dogs .Ive ran mine since I've had the car and have had no issues. I've also had a little up grade in the rear inner arches which will accept the wider 265 rubber and run the same ride night as now. Unbelieveably ive raised the fronts by 14mm due to 40 profile rubber and there's no rubbing at all. The car will be in for a full geo. Set up once its been painted and trimmed...I guess I won't be seeing the car until about May I guess....still as long as it's ready for my trip to the F1 at Austria then a week bombing round Italy with my mates.....happy days !

I too am hoping to drive the Tam to Italy this year, albeit work related. (Didn't get the Tam out this weekend, too much work frown )

I will buy the new tyres nearer my post run-in service in May, and have Power increase the ride height and do a full geo (225/40's on the front and 235/255's on the rear)

This thread has been very helpful regarding these LED lights and I have been thinking about it for ages.
I have decided to go for it and see if I can get them for this weekends soft top Sunday at goodwood. I want to buy all clear/white lights with no red ones but I know that I need red reflectors though so not sure how good it will look. What do people think?
I've never seen one with all white lights, so don't know how it'd look, TBH.

I still love them, my wife tells me she can certainly see me brake when she's behind me.

I note that the official TVR parts site now sell these LED's as an upgrade.

(My wife absolutely loves her R53 Cooper S - what can I do to improve it? hehe )

You can buy a clear fog light LED.

Looks good!

Did you use Sikaflex to fix the lights in place?

Hi Poppet...?!

I like the end result. Can I ask, was this an easy 'plug and play' job or did it involve work that could be buggered up by an idiot like I?

Could you list the items used and perhaps even where to get them?

Thanks.
If I could do it, I am sure you can! hehe

All the info and links are in this very thread for parts.

Cheers Chris,

I got a bit confused as a couple of different suppliers are mentioned, but will just read a bit more when I get chance. You mentioned (at least I think it was you) that if you were to do it again you would buy spade connectors to make life easier, are you able to elaborate on size or any other details?

Before you think I really am an idiot, I am yet to collect my new Tamora and so can't pop out and take a look.

Cheers.
The spade connectors are standard, not too big (not sure of the size, but they look like any common or garden connector)

I bought all the LED lights from here (including the resistors):

http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/category/led/

The connectors and wire strippers from Amazon (probably could have got them cheaper from EBay - but they were cheap anyway)

I used Sikaflex 221 to fix all lights.

Got any pics of your new Tam?

Very nice, so you bought the T350 front end Tamora, with the superbly re-trimmed interior. A lot of money has been lavished on that car!

The fog and reverse lights are slightly different - they even have quite a large heat sink fitted to them which the indicator and brake lights do not have. I think this is why there's a price disparity. I think it cost me just under £350 to do the whole lot.

Hi, a bit off topic but was that T350 front end ever a factory option? or was it only repaired cars that would have this?

a friend asked me and I wasn't sure if the factory ever offerd this on the Tams?

Cheers,
Jon
Hi Jon smile

As far as I am aware, a T350 front end was never a factory option.
