Come on guys, I was trying to inject a bit of humour last night to lighten things up on this forum.

As I have said loads of times I really hope the T350T's come out soon and those of you who have ordered them can get out and enjoy them. I appreciate it must be frustrating and that some of the comments posted over the last month or so (including ones from me) must have only added to the annoyance.

Some of us (including myself) have information that can't really be posted on here as it is always going to be regarded as heresay and gossip rather than pure fact. It doesn't really matter where the information comes from, if it's negative it's always going to provoke a reaction from people who are patiently waiting for their cars.Especially when they are getting told something completely different by their dealers and the factory. Lets face it, the dealers and the factory are hardly going to turn round to customers who are waiting for their cars and tell them that they are having problems.....the fact that it hasn't gone on the production line yet tells you everything right now. I don't get any satisfaction from that. If I was waiting I would have the right hump by now.

I will be in Blackpool next weekend for the Back Home weekend and I'm visiting the factory on the Sunday. Normally TVR have something prepared for us as a suprise, in the past it's been the Speed Twelve, and the Tuscan R amongst other things, lets hope next week we all get to see the T350T for the first time.

No more grief from me, I just want to return to the friendly banter we used to have on here.

Cheers

Flash.

Now, now.... I thought we were going to have peace from now on. And the place I work is far worse then school, more like permanent detention at the moment!!

How's the Tamora going?

Hi Linda

Yeah, we are all off to Le Mans again this year, this time from the Thursday til the Monday. We are all stopping over in Honfleur on the Sunday night for a decent meal and sleep before getting the ferry home on Monday morning...

Haven't seen Sprint yet, should be on the doormat when I get home....

You really do only have the one joke book, or is it you only have one page?

"'tis a good job that today I am wearing my corset - otherwise I fear my sides would have surely split laughing. "

30 minutes, a record so far....

Hey!! It's a WWW forum here, anyone can join in...

I love Honfleur too, we should all meet up for a beer one weekend later in the Summer and talk about the time you ordered a T350T and it never materialised..

Only Kidding!!!

5 weeks to Le Mans Bennno!! Looking forward to our race accross France mate, like we had in the Cerbs a couple of years back..

Will give you a 10 minute head start, will only use first 3 gears and will leave handbrake on to give you a 'sporting chance' this time.

Drove a new range rover home this evening (tis my mothers new car just having a go) was mighty impressed, Flasher mentioned or rather told everyone!!! the other day about the roof panels disappearing, I know this happens, sometime or other and was thinking, what the f*** am I doing buying a car that will lose its roof by the time this car tops out!
SO..........
Should I ????
1) forget it and stick with the 996 and either sell (this will get flash going again!!) my deposit or try and get it back!!
2)get a 350c to suit flashers opinion!
3) Get another cerb (the equivalent to standing in a cold shower tearing up £50 notes!!)
4) Scrap cars altogether and either get the bus or make the wife/kids drive?

Its late and the Jack Daniels is overtaking me......Put it to a public vote well at least a Pistonhead one!!! What have I got to lose!?! (cue Flasher again!)

Well, I can only give an opinion based on my experience with the 5 TVR's I have been lucky enough to own....

The roof panel in the Tamora almost popped out every time I went over 100mph. And before I get a lecture from *999* these include track days.

I had a think about the Targa and quickly came to the conclusion that:

a) It would be months waiting for the car.
b) the roof would leak
c) I would still require air con. (The Tamora was an oven without it)
d) £2000 for what is effectively two sunroofs is a rip off.
e) The roof panels would be a total pain in the arse to remove and replace.
f) Where do you put them on a track day?

After all that lot plus the fact I liked my Cerb, I ended up with the Coupe. And I'm just off the Folembray in 5 mins, at Back Home in it next week and I will be driving (along with Benno in his T350) to Le Mans in it in a months time...

Good job I didn't wait for the Targa eh? I'd have missed all those events and had to go in a bloody Focus..

I would change your order mate and order the coupe. At least you will have a car in six weeks time rather than a promise of one....

Sorry *999* it's only my opinion, don't take offence.
