I'm off to TMS this afternoon to get my 18" wheels fitted. I can't wait to see how it changes the look of the car. Perhaps I should do a 'before and after' shot.
Also, my Zaino brothers polish has finally arrived from the States. Used it yesterday, and it's good stuff - very shiny, no powder/residue, and not too difficult to apply. It looks like a show car again, and the shine is definitely better than Mer, my previous favourite. It would look astonishing on a darker coloured car. But it was $35.99, for 3 products, then the Exise slapped on another £18! Still, a lot cheaper than Zymol.

The car loks fantastic now. The ride is a bit more jiggly, as expected, and I think I'll put the 16" back for winter, but otherwise grip anf handling are even better than before.
Flash - guess what? Armourfend have released their kit for the Tamora - it's about £300 for the bits, and £60 to have one of their fitters out and £50 an hour to fit. About £500 in all, plus the respray needed for those cars already on the road. How frustrating is that?!
I met a pleasant chap at TMS yesterday, over from Germany to spec his Tamora - he was waiting for me to arrive to check out the colour - looks like another Grigio Alloy car will be running around in June.
BTW - I was nipping down the A607 into Melton, and on a long straight there was a tractor coming in the opposite direction, towing a big slurry tank. So, I expected the first car to pull round him to overtake, and I slowed down, just in case the next car decided to follow blind around the tracto - which of course it did!. By this time I was doing about 65, and thought - if there's another car (I couldn't see one by looking under the tractor) surely he won't risk pulling out? But, the capacity of the human species to astound with it's blind, raging stupidity, continues to amaze! From nowhere, tucked right up behind the tractor, a pale coloured car pulled right out, no more than 100 yards in front of me. Anchors aweigh!! I locked the rear wheels, the car got a bit sideways, and I started to decide which hedge to dive into! I really was preparing for a head-on shunt, and if the tractor hadn't pulled into a field, allowing the complete c**t of a driver to swerve round him I would probably be dead now. I have never witnessed such
idiocy in all my life!

The centre caps are stick-on items, just like the horrible gold ones. They're a fiver each, and look much better, I reckon.
apache - dig deep and find that cash - you know it makes, err, absolutely no sense at all!!
Richb - it's amazing what an idiot can produce with a half decent camera, isn't it? I use a Fuji Finepix 6900 that I bought this year. It gives cracking results, although the autofocus is a bit slow. But for static shots like these, it's hard to beat at the price - the highest setting produces images of 6million pixels, and file size of EACH photo is 17-18Mb!!
Glad you like the car, by the way. I saw a Ferrari 360 Modena in the same colour yesterday, in a rundown area of Sheffield (doesn't narrow it down much!). I realised later, it's Prince Naseem Hamed's car.
