I sympathise. Had a bloke drive into the back of mine a couple of months back and drive off. Lots of unpleasant people out there. Hope you can find a good body shop and get it all sorted out.

Same happened to me last year .....some pissed scum bag ran up the bonnet and over the roof of my Wife 's X3 and then over the bonnet and roof of my Honda.......the Aston was in the garage ........lots of damage which was fixed by a very skilful " no paint dent remover" guy for £200.........the estimate from traditional paint shops was £1800 for the 2 cars

Scum, mindless jealous scum. No ther words for it, they have a mindset we can't begin to contemplate frown

Hope it isn't too bad and gets fixed promptly and properly. Looking like insurance or hand in your pocket?

Someone did the same to my Aston. And stabbed the tyres on it and my Maserati on the same night. Some nasty people out there.

Nightmare... I cant imagine what these idits are thinking?? Why is is that they never fall and break a leg when car jumping and get caught...

I dont think that my damage will be so cheap to sort out, they have even gone across the headlights... all round the car, really deep scratches.

I will take some pictures of it later when I stop feeling so sick! Cant even bare to look at it...

I know that sick feeling...........if I can try and make you feel a little better.......the dick who did will never experince the joy of owning an Aston Martin and the highlight of his week is probably the 6 pints he drinks on a Saturday night

That's awful. Jealous, mindless scum!

On the upside... After the body shop have worked their magic, and you've got your new wheels and other bits, it'll be like a new car.

Sorry to hear about that though.

I suppose, but its taken the shine off those plans for now... Constantly going to be paranoid from now on, maybe il chain the 2 rotties to it at night...

I have not had the greatest luck with this car from day one!!

Definatley a car cover, I was planning on getting one of those for the winter, but thats going to be hassle every time I use the car..

Gonna move in the near future, new house must have secure double garage to keep the car in or a longer drive away from the road.

They would only try to sue you for polishing the car and leaving it slippery...

Sorry to hear about this mate. Scumbags.

The first 'nice' car I ever bought was an Audi S3, it was my pride and joy. Woke up the morning after buying it to find it keyed. They had methodically gone across each and every panel, down to the bare metal.

A full respray and a month or so late I had moved on, so you will get over it.

Nice you have somewhere to vent, I guess.

Look forward to seeing the car in a few weeks restored to its former glory and with the new bits on it smile

Not when you've scratched them to the bone with a rusty old key...

Haven't posted for a while, but seeing this thread makes me livid.

I had a new BMW convertible and some mindless scum slashed the roof.

A separate BMW convertible, keyed down the side the day before I was px'ing it.

On both occasions I was devastated.

You have my sincere sympathies. I dread how I would feel if someone maliciously damaged my Aston.

If I caught them then they would soon learn about a woman and 'the mental'

To us on here these are not mere cars but in most cases, our dreams, which have been worked bloody hard for.

It sometimes just isn't worth owning something of value or beauty as there is always the mindless, jealous, brain dead moron who wants to ruin it or deprive you of it.

To not own it though is giving into them.

I hope you get it sorted soon and back better than new.

I have only recently come into AM ownership with a DB9 Volante. I love the car but get that awful panicking feeling when you return to your car and find what you hope are admirerers looking at the vehicle.
Having had my Range Irover keyed twice, I feel the gut wrenching pain of the poor guy and his V8V. The people who do these things dont deserve a life and lack respect, is there any wonder that the hard working majority refer to them as CHAV's! Mindless A holes that's what they are!

Many years back, I had my Porsche keyed from bonnet, down the front wing, front door, rear door, rear wing and boot and the roof comprehensively slashed. I totally feel your pain.
