That's what we were saying last week in the thread 'You heard it here first' (14th December): "It was quite a surprise to learn that the 'wisdom' we share here is being watched by the main men at AM so now you know perhaps you would like to tell them what you really want from the Astons of the future!" smile

I actually like those watch adverts! My personal favourite is the Richard Mille RM022, closely followed by the Louis Moniet Astralis. Shame I'll probably never be able to afford either of them weeping

I'd like to see more features about restoring the classic cars at Newport Pagnall in the magazine. I really enjoyed the articles about the DB5 convertible they did.

I believe, from previous threads, that the Dealer signed me up for my free subscription.

Kris - you and Mr G - again, I believe - both bought privately.

I believe (crikey, I'm starting to sound like Robson & Jerome), also that AM has offered Mr G a subscription to deter him from moving over to the gaylord, in your face, Berlusconni, I'm going bankrupt with a smile on my face, Italian side.

Try emailing ampr@astonmartin.com or info@affinitypublishing.co.uk and see where it leads you smile

Mr G - found an absolute gem of a wine for you and Yeti last night.

Not often will you use the words 'Portuguese' and 'fine red' in the same sentence, but at the recent G20 meeting they had....Quinta do Carmo 2005.

I read somewhere that it's from the Rothschild Lafite stable (much like Los Vascos) but there is no reference on the bottle, other than 12 months in French oak barrels.

Perhaps the most 'balanced' wine I've tasted this year.

Wholesale price 32 euros per bottle, got a deal on £8.95 + vat so bought a case to try.

I shall be returning for more toute de suite smile

Google it Mr G - I was hoping you wouldn't ask about the grape but here goes....

Aragones, Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira, Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

That's according to the bottle and yes the year will be important.

If grape volume is listed like ingredients on foods with the highest % first, then the last 2 more well known ones are only having a minor impact on the flavour - probably about right for a blend, with one more of a Bordeaux grape and one more of a Rhone Valley grape smile
