We all love the music from Aston Martin exhausts.

What sounds great on the 700W Premium Audio System whilst driving?

Try these for a start.

1. Two Steps From Hell - Heart of Courage.
2. Soundtrack - James Bond - The Living Daylights.
3. Soundtrack - Top Gun - Highway to the Dangerzone.
4. Soundtrack - Rocky - Gonna Fly Now.

WARNING. Be cautious with the throttle when playing these tracks.

Jedwood - the sound of the exhaust drowns out the little pricks.

Two of my in car Aston favourites are :

Chris Cornell - You Know My Name (Casino Royal Themetune)

and

Brian Eno - An Ending (Top Gear Season finale track played over review of V12V)

I have both of those tracks permanently on my USB stick in the car, regardless of any other albums that come and go.

biggrin

Conversely the following is one of the worst Aston tracks I have ever heard :

Rick Ross - Aston Martin Music - truly dreadful!

yuck

It depends what type of driving I'm doing to what music I play. Normal day to day stuff it's things like Foo Fighters, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 30 Seconds to Mars, Green Day, Pendulum and my personal favourite - Biffy Clyro. Been listening to Kasabian and The Prodigy Greatest Hits though recently.

If I go for a fast drive out then can't beat heavy rock music like Metallica, Lostprophets or Rage Against the Machine

Its hardly awful, Ive got Rick Ross cd loaded in the cd changer always... I love hip hop... In fact my music collection goes from Franciszek Chopin right through to Frank Sinatra...

I only draw the line at thrash metal... wink

I have this one in the car too - I find it very relaxing in times when stress levels need controlling!

I love all kinds of music and tend to keep a range of CDs in the auto changer - hip hop/old favourites/recent additions & a "passenger friendly" chart CD.

Buying an Aston has always been a huge aspiration of mine, so I find a lot of my favourites relate back to a past time or experience in my life. They "transport" me back there and remind me just how much I wanted the car growing up and how lucky I feel to have one now ...

Feeder - Just a day
Feeder - Buck Rogers
Notorious BIG - Hypnotize
Lostprophets - Last Summer
Jay-Z & Linkin Park - Big Pimpin'/Papercut
Mann - The Mack ft. Snoop Dogg, Iyaz
Roxette - The Look
Sunlounger feat. Zara - Lost
Michael Jackson - Man in the mirror

+1 for the Living Daylights! Get the actual soundtrack, here's some great instrumental tracks on there!
I also agree with your warning! Entered a roundabout on the A1 WAY too fast to the Top Gun track!! Years ago now after a day spent flying about in a jet fighter!! cool

After dark, I love this while I cruise - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005GSY25A/ref=dm...

And when the sun comes out it has to be Summertime - dj jazzy Jeff and the fresh prince.

Otherwise its a proper mash of floyd, random 80s stuff and bros.

I lied about the bros.

Try 009 Sound System, tracks "With a Spirit" and " Born to be Wasted" There is an amazing video clip on U.Tube to accompany the second one. 200MPH plus on a Busa. It is a terrible admission but my current favourite album is "The Best of Bond" Can't imagine why!
As soon as the pace picks up, music goes off, window gets lowered slightly, keep the revs around 6000 that's the best sound with an artillery accompanyment.

I bet I've got some other genres that fall the wrong side of the line. Mostly with the word "progressive" in front or behind.
I call it eclectic. My misses calls it ste.
Ho hum. We agree on most everything else.

Crappy yank/canuck rock for me usually; Theory of a Deadman, Hinder, Shinedown, Creed, Seether, Black Stone Cherry, and of course the much hated Nickelback.

Also have the Band of the RAF playing the war movie theme tunes... Nothing like driving through Arnage during Le Mans playing the Battle of Britain, 633 Squadron and the Dambusters themes!

One track that makes me silly in the car... Moby's James Bond theme. Hard not to get caught up in the moment rather embarrassingly frown

Nothing to be ashamed of, it's only a bit of fun. It's like the oo7 private plate discussion
on here not long ago. I couldn't beleive all those serious people who got all nasty and bent out of shape over a number plate. If I see an Aston with a Bond related plate, it just makes me smile.
I am sure the owner is driving along with his tongue firmly in his cheek.
