I would imagine it's because he would like to be having a go in a V12 as well wink

It looks like every man and his dog is raving about the car.

Just watched Tiff reckon it's as good as a 430...which I suppose is good given its price tag.

Be interesting to see what everyone thinks of it. No invite for me sadly.

How did the weekend go at Wilmslow ? I am going to Cheltenham for my visit - not sure if the whole show is heading there or if we get the one car and the AM PDC.

Yea very good, AM Wilmslow put on a good display - they had the rolling shell of a LeMans DB9R, the V12 Vantage N24 Race car - still in race dirt condition, a sparkling GT4 Vantage and ........... the new V12 Vantage in Grey with black alcantara and carbon fibre. Very nice! My wife had a peek inside it and then said/asked the enevitable - 'It looks identical to yours - so what's the difference?
Fortunatley the bonnet was open, but the V12 by Aston didn't quite make her eyes light up .... women hey!
The only think I found (comparing to my car & the V12 I sat in at the Geneva show) was that the lightweight sports seat wouldn't go back far enough for my 6'2" frame? I ended up very hunched up around the s.wheel (very nice in alcantara) and the gear lever too close and clumsy
I did enquire, and was told that this was a pre-production model and no doubt a few tweaks will be made for customer cars.
Anyway test drive booked for a couple of weeks time - we will see how the next stage goes!

Driving it in a couple of weeks time at Donnington. Still feel it's too much money and hate the wheels even more but we'll see.............

I saw Fifth Gear last night as well, and for a guy (Tiff) that had no problem telling everyone he doesn't like AM cars, the DBS and V12V seem to have really impressed him !!

His comment (along the lines of) "If Gaydon could cook as well as the Italians, I would have no need to go to Marenello anymore", really suprised me.

I know it's only one persons opinion, even though it's a very informed one, but for Tiff to say he would have the DBS over a 550 and the V12 over an F430 surely shows how far Aston have come smile

Hi J wavey
I recorded it - so watched it in FF x16 mode. The 'good bits' amounted to probably under 8 minutes! I think you can watch re-run on the Channel 5 Fifth Gear website - but you may have to endure all the crap!
