What goes with an Aston ?

Just wondering what other cars people run with their Astons?
I am thinking of updating my fleet but keeping my DB9 convertible manual and I am curious what other cars people drive ?
I'll kick off. I have a Lexus RX300 for when I am not in the mood for driving,need to shift stuff or people in comfort, a boxster for when I am really in the mood for back road driving ,and the wife has a clk convertible for when four people need to pose in the sun in comfort.
All these cars are getting a bit long in the tooth so ideas are welcome for replacements that do the same jobs.

Whilst viewing the Rapide my daughter went exploring with a slice of pineapple in her hand. Try as hard as we might we could find no sign of it afterwards. So, lodged inside the demo Rapide may well be a slice of pineapple in whatever state of decay....

surely depends on your circumstances?
we didnt have any kids, no requirement for load lugging etc ...so had 4 sportscars between 2 of us at one point
then we got sensible as we need a practical beast and ran an RS6 Avant for a while with it
then I had an accident, and havnt worked for 2 years, cant drive etc, so sold a couple of cars, and just have an Aston for trips out/touring hols and a comfy Volvo diesel commuter
peoples cars obviously vary throughout their life as circumstances need and change
personally, when Im driving (and working!) again I would like ;
V12 Vantage - touring/hols/sunday runs
Elise or Cat 7 - trackdays
RS6 Avant - practical all weather performance
A3 diesel commuter for the other half, who sadly has to pay her own fuel bills, unlike myself

A working class hero that drives an Aston - whatever next.t !!It is not a stupid question because the majority of Aston drivers have other cars and not all Astons are useable as everyday cars. Even if they can't afford it most car nuts have a fantasy garage which would meet all their needs.
I am sorry that it offends you that I spend my money on cars but I can assure you it is my money I have earned it not inherited it.Don't be so quick to judge.
I guess it all rather depends on whether you have kids etc. to transport around.
The ideal car to balance the V8 Vantage for me needs to be practical and reliable.
My wife has a Golf which fits the bill most of the time, but is a bit tight on space as the kids are getting a bit bigger. I have been thinking of something like a 5 series touring might be better.

I've got to say that for all the flack they take from people who love to hate 4x4s and SUVs a Range Rover takes some beating. For 4 people in comfort (and style) + luggage/dogs in any weather to any occasion, anywhere. Yes there are great estate cars around but visibility from a RR makes any journey both easy and pleasurable.
But, you may still need a cheap tin box to abandon at the railway station and supermarket if you want to keep the other cars dent free.

Hmm, difficult to defend ourselves against that "Astons being driven by chavs" thread, when we have posts like the one by Ash250k here. 
DB9 Volante manual - that is a rare car! Manual cupes are rare enough, but I've never hear a of a manual Volante before.
As for the question in the original post, how about a Caterham to replace the Boxster? Nothing is more fun to drive.

Thanks for the ideas - funnily enough I have toyed with most of the suggested cars.
I don't commute any distance but I do a 120 mile round trip most weekends on a mix of motorways and rough forest roads so I can't have anything too low ( Aston gets left at home ) but it would be nice if it was fast,comfortable and economical ( I like efficient things ) - and of course looked good.
Second requirement is the boxster replacement - or does a car exist that could do the above trip plus the back road easy driving fun and 5 mile commute (it can't be too hardcore - I still like .
a bit of comfort ).
Range Rover Sport perhaps but seriously inefficient but then again with the new 3 litre diesel - but do I really want a diesel? As I am fast becoming an old git with the kids up and away I was also thinking about a golf R to replace the 4x4 but as someone says the driving position in a range rover/ 4x4 is so good it's hard to go back to a conventional car.
Anyway events took another turn today . I had been trying to persuade the wife into a 911 convertible to replace the boxster and her CLK with one car. However she thought this was far too 'flash' .She has very little interest in cars,and sadly , knows when I am trying to manipulate her choice .On the other hand she can recognise a mercedes star when she sees one. So the CLK has been traded in today for a new SLK 200 with sportspack in Indigolite blue which arrives next month . It looks good ,has a big mercedes star on it and a metal folding roof. Best of all I probably won't go near it as it drives like a shopping trolley ,so she will get her first brand new car . I have therefore been badly outmanouvered and need help !!

Nowt wrong with sensible cars! I had an Impreza RB320 as my 'sensible' car alongside the V8V, and I hesitatingly changed it for a Legacy Sport Tourer TDI; yes, devil's fuel burner! Funny how I no longer miss the RB and have come to enjoy the Legacy for its totally different driving style (to say nothing of its 43mpg average, compared to the RB's 22!). I wouldn't have it as my sole car, but with the V8V, the Westfield Megabusa for track days and MGA for the feeling of speed with no risk to the licence, I've started to feel I've just about got the perfect garage (within financial reason)! 
Not forgetting the Ducati for when 4 wheels and 1 passenger is too many!
