Did you take it up with the garage concerned.
Before my opinion sinks along with Duncans, need to know what the red faced dealership manager has to say about that! frown

No point wasting my time as I've had dealings with the dealership before. Non have been satisfactory.
Need a few nom de plume's so that all those jealous husbands cant catch up with me!
Point taken. It is a wise man that learns from anothers mistakes. We know where our p&j's get the TLC they deserve. wink

Back on topic: today Rob asked me to get Pearl out of the garage and reverse her down the drive for him to wash her. This tricky manoeuvre was simplified by driving about 2 miles up the road to the nearest roundabout and back again. biggrin

Once my valeter had done his thing, needless to say, I tucked Pearl safely back up in her garage.
Now that I like with one exception; Rob, whats with the you doing the washing thing and Molly doing the,,,well,,,you know. confused

What we would like to see George, is a YouTube.

An on-bike camera, with you on the grid, leaving the start line, and a then few laps of racing.

Please arrange that for your next race.
It might get the girls queuing for autographs.

.......................

He is polishing the Aston Martin at the moment don't you know, and then he has to clean out my moat and duck house'. smile
Surely that should be 'dook house'. hehe

Went out for a drive before the rain arrives, at traffic lights a mondeo pulls up alongside and waves to open the window. I did and he says "give it some gas", I did and we both drove off smiling. I am still amazed how this marque pleases so many people, especially me.
You just put a smile on every face that reads your post,,,,thank you. wink

Well she came home today, safe, sound and absolutely superb,,,,all that 'Q' would not do, has been done.

Mike and the BR team have, thru' sheer dogged committment with the Vesuvius project, broadened the scope of both technical and cosmetic mods they are now able to offer. It has been a long and difficult road at times but the 'belief' was always there. Today that belief has been vindicated, I don't doubt there's a whole lot more to come. yes

Congratulations Mike, Adrian and all at Bamford Rose, you have made a dream come true for me. bow

Steven, Martyn, thank you for your kind words. I took delivery from the factory 26th June, with only 65 miles on the clock she went to BR to begin her 'journey'. Today, with all the mods complete, finally, Vesuvius has been delivered back to me. There are now 1175 miles on the clock, only half of those are mine, the remainder BR.

Now Lunablack, your kind words are spot on, she's spent precious few days here with me, even then I was reluctant to take her very far until BR had finished the power upgrade work. Now, I'm very much looking forward to getting to know what makes her tick. We're going to have some fun we are, after all, those 580 horses need exercise don't they,,,see you around, well, as long as you don't blink. thumbup

Bloody Hell Bob,

Fantastic, what a car, what a garage. Bamford Rose will have done an awesome job on Vesuvius. Remember that car will only live when it is being used. The moral of what I am saying is make sure you drive Vesuvius, come on the rides out, plan trips abroad (Petrol Head Nirvana) . Molly has just told me not preach! I promise you I am not. We love our BR'd Vantage S , in fact our lives seem to revolve around the blessed thing. You must do the same.
I think I have read sufficient posts by you Rob to know what makes you and Molly tick. Not for a moment did I consider you were 'preaching', well if you are I'm the converted. yes It is our intention to get along to as many rides out, meet ups, as possible. Its not as easy for us as we would like, Julia and I both have businesses that operate 24/7, 365 days a year, a bit rubbish when it comes to a social life. frown

Paddy, Cockers, looking forward to meeting up soon, thanks for your posts. Paddy will you be available for a home visit mid November?

George thanks, look forward to your video tomorrow,,,,I did 2 wheels many moons ago. smile

Words fail me! Where is all the stuff that normally goes in the garage? If I could get mine like that and keep it that way it would make my OH very happy. But car stuff, kids stuff, garden stuff, lawnmower, bikes etc., means only just enough space for the car. Oh and at this time of year endless amounts of leaves invading. Do you wipe the tyres or have one of those tyre cleaner thingys that you drive through before putting the car in?

Oh yes....Vesuvius is awesome. Enjoy. driving
You mean like this:

I like the sound of that tyre cleaning thingy. scratchchin

After selfishly being out of the country for a whole week I rushed back home to make my apologies and gave her a comforting hoover out (placebo effect) and some much needed words of reassurance that I wasn't going to have to leave her alone again ever, never ever,,,,unplugged the trickle charger for double comfort,,,,daddies home. hippy
