That really looks rather good 
I ran all sorts of cars for years with no front plate so you might get away with it. In the world of cameras though, it seems to be plods primary concern that you can be filmed at all times. My small plate on my old DB7 got me a talking too and almost a confiscation under anti-terrorist laws! Very bored plod I think...

Ha ha... No the thread started when my car got vandalised... But now the car has been sorted with a few mods along the way...I hope you've not done that and are still gutted.
Will start a new thread called Absolutley chuffed when it comes back from the workshop...
I can confirm that the car is now complete with mods sat in the corner of my workshop and my oh my what a stelth looking sex machine it is.....

Got a little story that may ease your pain Burntout.
Years ago as a young doctor I worked in Emergency department for long nights.
Some young thug was brought by the police after being arrested for keying cars on a parking lot. This idiot managed to wound his hand in breaking some car lights.
Before putting him in jail for the night the policemen had to bring him to the hospital for some skin stitching.
As car nuts, the nurse and I were pretty concerned about car vandalism.
So we did our job and stitched the boy while the policemen wait.
"Unfortunately" we'd ran out of anesthetics this very night... Even the policemen had a wide grin!
