Thought you might like this picture which really shows off the profile:-) Thanks for all your nice comments, it certainly appears to be a car that grows on people
The side grill going into the door looks stunning

I've seen your post on loving lurid color Loti - we know you are a chav deep under the skin, just wrapped in old smelly tweed! Admit it! wink
I love most cars in lurid colours! That's the only chavvy thing I like (still better than liking cars in Recession white wink ).

I'm hoping they can find me a Krypton or Isotope Green Exige 190 cool If not, Chrome Orange or Zest Yellow will have to do smile

To be correct, it isn't the mesh grill that extends into the door, only the side strake.

Nope - I like carbon fibre in structural applications. It makes a lot of sense. Weight saved and increased rigidity. We are using it for fan blade prototypes at the moment.

I despise the look of it when unpainted though. Very chavvy.
George, a composite fan was a contributory factor for RR going bust in 1971. I'll know who to blame if the same happens again and I loose my contract!

I'm guessing your fan blade won't be painted wink
The 310quish is growing on me though that front lip is too brave for me!

I don;t think you even notice it when you're stood next to the car - it does stand out in pictures though. I think we'll all get used to it.

I don't work on the carbon bit, only the titanium leading edge. It has some sort of coatings on it.

I hadn't noticed that particular part of the design before but I certainly like it. I've always preferred the look of the V8V/V12V front wing and door over the DB9's because of the strake design.

We are talking aero engines. I don't do the carbon fibre or the materials side of things, I just do the metal bits.
