Every time I take the DB11 to a cruise in or to Cars and Coffee it has a crowd around it from the time I get there till when we leave. At Cars and Coffee the always have me park the DB11 with the exotic cars. Last time between a Lamborghini and a Ferrari. This is the 76th car that I have owned and my wife thinks it is the best looking. The looks are growing on me and I agree with other posts that the look is very much color dependent. I think that the BO sound system is a waste of money, maybe just my old ears. The interior is very comfortable and well designed. I don’t mind the nav screen tacked on the dash, alot of other cars have the same. I don’t use all the technology. I guess I’m old school and just want to drive, something that it does very well. I like it and it drives fantastic and it is fast but I still prefer the look of our V8Vantage, one car that will never leave the collection.
The world is full of cars that a great to drive, knock of 0-100 in the blink of an eye, and look pretty good. The truly eye-wateringly attractive cars are few and far between, and the Vantage is one of them, and it`s pretty decent to toss around as well!

I've been keeping an eye on the market and it's interesting (perhaps a little shocking if you are an owner from new) to see that 2017 cars are now being listed for sub-£110k. There are a few that I have saved down that don't seem to be shifting particularly quickly. That's pretty chunky depreciation.

Personally I think I will be tempted when they get below £100k and then I can imagine just holding on to it for quite a while.

Also has a horrific interior IMHO. Saw it on Saturday when i test drove the new Vantage.

Lately I've been looking at these as well. What do you bid on an Aston at £110k?

The DB11 design has grown on me just as the new Vantage has not. My only issue with the DB11 is the DBS. If I was in the market for a large Aston I’d probably stretch for the DBS.

Apologies in advance for the pedantry - but it’s Frosted Glass Blue.

Albeit I prefer the sound of Frosted Ice (even if frosting ice doesn’t make sense).

From a reliability stand-point are these DB11s any good? I'm guessing they must be better than the previous generation AM's but how much better is the question. My wife thinks DB11s look terrific.

I think there was a number quoted in the prospectus (faults per 1000 cars?) that was down sharply for the new cars vs the old. I might try to dig it out later

That assumes the previous generation weren't reliable. Which on the whole they were / are

Hi All,

I just wanted to see if there were any DB11 owners on here? I really like the ooks and also like he idea of the latest technology. There are some good deal on them at the moment so i am going to go and have a look this week but I wanted to see if there were any owners views?

Also any must have's when specing up a new one?

Thanks!
There are some real bargins on Autotrader and here on Pistonheads. Give it another 12 months and there be plenty of choice under £100k!

I guess you have to ask to get the 'good deals'? Some are pushing £200k on Autotrader, with a base price of ~£155k I can't believe the options cost that. Cheapest is £169k with 4k miles on. No thanks...
17 cars available under £110k! some really good spec and mileage.

I went and had a play with one of these at the weekend and I just can’t get my head around it. As much as I should like it (on paper) I don’t like it in the flesh. Nice enough but just not enough to spend £100+k on it.......

What didn't you like about it Zanderman ? Did you drive the V12 or the V8 ? Or both perhaps. I've only driven the non-AMR V12 myself, but by all accounts/reviews the V8 is the one to go for.

Honestly hard to say. Drove fairly well, just really not sure on the internal and external looks. I’m just not sure it looks right to me (very subjective I know!). I also think it didn’t feel like much of a departure from my Bentley Conti Sport to warrant a change. I think I am looking for something a little sportier.
