Aston Martin only track day

Aston owners don`t mind shelling out for their cars but struggle to stump up 20 quid for some track day photos of their cars?!? Sounds a bit miserable. If there`s 40 cars he make 800£ - a day of photography, hundreds but more like a couple of thousand photos that have to be downloaded, selected, edited etc so probably another day - cheaper than if I was doing it, just saying...

I have to agree ,I done a track day at Spa ,50 euro s a car for photos there. So if he wants £800 seems like a good price to me even if you only had 30 cars it's less £27 per car

I agree, happy with £20-£30 for a bunch of quality shots of my car on track. Taken in the context of the cost of the day; fuel spent both on track and getting there & home again (from Wales in my case), an overnight stop, trackday insurance etc. ec. it hardly seems worth quibbling about +/- £10.

Would be great to get some pro instruction on the day - perhaps AM can recommend some of their factory drivers (just did the PDC and would hands down recommend the drivers they use for that). Anyone know a Vulcan owner?

Ed (Ed50) knows or knows of a Vulcan owner because he managed to get one along to Burleigh 2016. However, Ed hasn't been on here for ages and I don't even know if he's still an Aston owner . Maybe he's in the queue for a new one?

It's definitely not out of the question if everyone's willing to have me! I was already looking to plan a trip over there for next year, and I can base the travel dates around this.

Excellent! I suspect you won't be bringing one of your Vantages with you but I'm sure they'll be plenty of people offering you drives in theirs. Oh hang on, seem to remember a video of a recent track event you attended

Ha! In my defense it gave me an excuse to buy a whole bunch of race car parts I wouldn't have otherwise been able to justify spending so much money on.

I'd love to drive a GT8, GT12, and GT4, but I'd be babying them around the track - I'm not used to right-hand drive cars, plus it would be my first time on whichever track this is at, and I'm far more careful with other people's property than I am with my own. So the drive would be very slow and risk much lower compared to driving my own cars, but it's a huge thing to ask of someone.
