So I now have the grand total of 615 out of 1196....... Only 581 left to find, should be easy
Bump!Well almost 6 months since my post above and the Register is up to 635 cars, having added 3 cars this week for sale in Uk, USA and Switzerland. Lots (6 or 7) of black for sale in Europe, and in the USA S00611 has just sold - the only Aviemore Blue car with Sahara Tan interior!

Hey there - it was never advertised because the dealer informed me it was coming in in advance and I went to see it before he could even post an advert. What information do you need? Also I have test driven and viewed two others and can try and get details of those for you too...
Hey, thanks for the info. S00300 I have.... it was for sale at AM Copenhagen in January this year! Missing the full vin but don't normally get this info on EU cars. I can send you the register entry for mine then you can see the info I keep, then I can put 889 on the register
If you can get other European cars then fantastic!
I'll send you an email.

Any recent updates Mako? Any idea of total Carbon Black V12s, and in Europe versus US?
Hi there, thanks for the post. The Register now has 650 cars from 1196 built (54%) and has progressed well this year. This has been helped by the influx of one-owner cars coming up for sale - presumed in px against the new manual S and owners thinking they had a keeper, but want the latest and last manuals!Re Carbon Black cars, I don't have the total numbers officially built but the Register has 118 confirmed examples - 35 UK, 49 US/Canada, 21 EU, 7 NZ/Australia, 2 China, 1 Malaysia, 1 Lebanon, 1 Chile, 1 Ukraine.
HTH and feel free to assist in any European ones you see - i need last 4 vin and an advert link or photos please if out and about!
I've been lead to believe that the data kept on the Register is not available to AML all in one place, so when complete (haha - taken me nearly 6 years to get 650!) will hopefully be a fantastic thing.
If an owner requests specific info on a colour then they may be able to help. For eg, a fellow Mako owner had it confirmed only 7 UK RHD Mako Blue V12Vs.

Hi Brital, thanks for the pic of your roadster....niiiiice!
My Register just deals with coupes as there is a chap in Holland who created a roadster register as he owned one. If you google v12 vantage Register there'll be a link to his website on these. Not sure if it is still updated.

I didn't think it was possible to have heated lightweights anyway ?
That is correct! It's quite rare to get light weights in the latter cars. It seemed to be commonplace for heated seats towards the end of the production run. Having tried both out, (my test drive car had the sport seats and now mine has the light weights), I very much prefer a V12 Vantage with the lightweight seats as opposed to the heavier bulkier heated seats. The light weights together with Alcantara steering wheel finish the car off perfectly.

do the door cill plates have the name usually who the car was built for, just a question?
Hi Steve, thanks for the info, and congrats on your purchase!I do have 401 on the register but missing a bit of info:-
1. Reg - now got, thanks
2. Audio - which version does the car have - standard 160w, premium audio 700w or 1000w B&O?
3. Engine number - will be on your Log book - AM10 ?????
Re your question, it was an optional extra (very rare) to have your name on the sill plaque. These can be retrofit by latter owners too. Do you know if the name is the first owner?
Cheers
Phil

I've just picked up BD13ZGN- now X2 VTG.
Got details already? If not I'll supply them
Hi David, thanks for the info and congrats on the purchase!Got details already? If not I'll supply them
Yes, I have this one on the 13 plate and a private reg previous to that. I have all the data I need but this car has an interesting fact! Not sure if it's been corrected now, but there's been an error, probably at the DVLA when it was first registered. They have the chassis as only being 16 digits and ending S0119 instead of S01119 which the car is.
Let me know when you have received the logbook as I'd be interested to see if it is still incorrect!
Hi Ken, this particular car is S00558. It looks like it's not been for sale through the dealer network before as I don't have any prior sale details. I have spotted this car on Flickr and Autogespot previously with the reg above plus a private reg of V12LOB.
I've never seen interior pictures before so need these details to complete the record. It looks pretty standard interior - heated sport seats with leather inserts, obsidian leather upper and lower, Taylors grey headlining with obsidian carpet, piano black fascia trim. There's no silver box in the passenger or drivers footwell so it does not have B&O sound system and so will probably have the premium audio which is 700W. On the outside it has a bright finish grill and front parking sensors and black calipers.
As far as colour goes I will give you an idea of numbers for tungsten tomorrow when I have access to my PC. Personally Tungsten is my favourite silver as it looks quite like liquid metal. It isn't the rarest silver as that is titanium silver. However I think it is the second fewest in number as there are quite a lot of hammerhead, meteorite and quantum silver cars.
Cheers Phil
