I imagine so, as KX09 GXP was one of the original press cars.http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/clarkson-aston-va...

....that is unless AM have discovered dimension compressing technology and worked out how to fold that tin roof into the boot aka SLK style!

I wasn't sure if they would have used the same reg for press/engineering cars - AKA:http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/clarkson-aston-va...

Im not sure if i'm being thick or your trying to wind me up?
AML1 is a personal number plate owned by Aston Martin Lagonda. It can be moved from vehicle to vehicle as the Owner see fit once registered with the DVLA. However, the original car will have a standard DVLA at point of delivery.
When they remove the plate from one car to the next, the old car must either have a new DVLA plate, or another personal plate.
KX09GXP is a bog-standard DVLA plate (KX for Northants IIRC, 09 for the year and GXP - random). That plate must stay "attached" with the car util it is Sorn, scrapped or exported as above. It can have personal plate to personal plate as per the Owners desire, but if it was to resort to standard DVLA registration, it MUST use KX09GXP.
The only other option is AML scrap the DVLA plate, register it so to the DVLA who will claim it as their own and sell it on to all applicale 09 year cars. AML are hardly like then to buy it back and place it on another car are they???
I'll assume your winding me up and I took the bait

On a 30 minute drive to Heathrow the other day, I saw 2 V12Vs; a white one I'm afraid I didn't catch the plate of and another dark silver that was KX59 AEJ I think (maybe you can find out the details on HPI or some checker).
Hi Tim, AEJ is #146, featured in Evo mag January 2009! The only details i'm missing for #146 is date of first reg ( although i could hpi for this) and what audio system it has - dont suppose you noticed did you Thanks for your posting!

I have a 2011 Carbon Black V12 Vantage with serial ending 659.
This vehicle was put into service in April of 2011 in Seattle, Washington, USA.
I took possesion in February of 2012. At that time the odometer reading was 437 miles.
The original owner put 437 miles on this car when he/she traded for a Ferrari in January of 2012. The depreciation suffered by that 1st owner is as shocking as the odometer reading.
The vehicle is now (safely) registered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Best,
CBV12V

Spooky. I bought my V12V Carbon Black April 2012 with little mileage on with circa 30% depreciation. Spookier is my initials are CB. So I am glad you live in Canada as I have just bought V12V CB plate for it. My car's previous owner apparently traded in to buy a one-77!This vehicle was put into service in April of 2011 in Seattle, Washington, USA.

I wasn't intentionally trying to wind anyone up I promise! I didn't realise that transferring a personal plate was different to a DVLA region-designated plate.AML1 is a personal number plate owned by Aston Martin Lagonda. However the image of that car as a coupe shows that it was exactly as I had assumed and was photshopped. I will say that it's a good job though!
Thanks for info from CBV12V and The Pits on here and from Schmee via email.
