The GT8! Carbon fibre bodied £200K 440BHP 7 Speed V8.
Discussion
I am finding it increasingly strange that I am agreeing with George a lot at the moment!
wow the black one with no wing looks great, The ones with wing etc aren't my cup of tea but each to there own!
With regards to selling on after with no wing Halfords sell one so it should be a relatively easy fix

Hmmmm not really.
Its like a 991 GT3RS without a rear wing of which there are precisely none.
One or two people have done it: http://rennlist.com/forums/general-porsche-discuss...Its like a 991 GT3RS without a rear wing of which there are precisely none.

There's a couple. I saw an orange one in Leamington and it looked amazing. Its like a 991 GT3RS without a rear wing of which there are precisely none.
If I wasn't going to track it, I'd take the GT8 without the wing to be honest. It feels a lot more pure without. More quintessentially Aston.
How many people in here are planning on tracking out of interest?

I know there are more differences than just a wing delete, but visually it's the main difference between the two. The point I was making is it's a much cleaner shape without the aftermarket looking wing which is completely irrelevant for any road driving, purely an aesthetic thingIts like a 991 GT3RS without a rear wing of which there are precisely none.
The wing is of course a personal choice thing. But from the two arguments in favour were
1. It's intended to be an homage to the GTE. It's not intended to be a homage to a standard Vantage. If I wanted the latter I would have bought a standard Vantage
2. The wing is gorgeous when you get close to it. Nice shiny carbon fibre! Not something cheap from Halfords
And yes it's intend to track it given the chance!

Of course in 20 years time, who knows if the incredible rarity of having no wing might actually make those cars more valuable
Looking forward 20 years is very difficult. Changes sometimes happen remarkably quickly now. Think Kodak's demise. Going from world domination of camera film, to bankruptcy in just a few years.
If the driverless cars do become successful, do you think driving our cars on public roads, will subsequently be banned completely on the grounds of safety?
It might push up the value of Vulcans though, but who will want our road cars?
None of us can tell though.

Wow, fantastic - I love it!Can you post some more pics please, especially of the interior. Love what you have done with the custom central armrest too - I wish I had thought of asking to add stitching to that too.

Another GT8 on the market, through an Aston Dealer too.
He's also owned a 488 and a Lamborghini Aventador SV (which he had wrapped in purple). Incase you were wondering
Despite the price, it really deserves an owner who doesn't think a purple-wrapped Aventador is tasteful! He's also owned a 488 and a Lamborghini Aventador SV (which he had wrapped in purple). Incase you were wondering
I think that's a reasonable price in comparison to other cars that have sold / been for sale. It has the carbon roof and is in quite a nice, individual colour scheme. All the ones around the £250k mark (apart from Romans' orange car) have sold quite quickly. I do wonder if this will settle as the market price going forwards.
If any of those early cars sold at circa £300k, I feel sorry for the buyers... and the sellers should be ashamed of themselves.
It is sad that across all the sales platforms there are over a dozen seemingly for sale! Our of 40! Drive them people FFS...
