Removed the rear driver's side tail light, which has annoyingly decided to gather so much condensation that it was running down the inside of the lens. Have drilled 4x 4mm holes on the top left and top right, and one lower right. I'll leave it to thoroughly dry for a week before applying gore tex patches over the holes and refitting it. Fingers crossed!
If you can remove the bulb holder, use a hairdryer on the lens and gently warm the outside. The moist air will go out of the bulb holder space. Takes a good few minutes but will prevent corrosion setting in. Hopefully. N7GTX said:

As mentioned about a week ago I had a racing pack PPF added to my car plus the kick plates PPF'd (the door sills with the Vanquish hand made in England) protected from shoes when entering or exiting.
The gent Robert who owns SD Detailng took this lovely black and white photo and sent it through FB. I have to say I love the look of thois car, there isnt a bad angle IMO.
Hope it comes out ok.

Today repaired a weeping auto transmission pipe and fitted a re-cored supercharger intercooler radiator. So that's a new oil cooler, aircon condenser and intercooler radiator in the last few weeks.
Just waiting on a new oil pressure transducer from AM as the oil pressure gauge reads just under 2 bar (30psi) when started from cold. A check with an oil pressure gauge showed it reading 5.2 bar (75psi).

Have to put the whole unit in the oven to soften the old adhesive iirc?

Just collected the car from AM Bristol after MOT and service, and having the calipers painted white and the forged carbon ski slope and centre console done, all coming together, Larini back box (no flaps) going on tomorrow.
Missed that one, the white calipers are very original and extremely cool and fitting with the overall look. Love the interior too, this raw carbon is growing on me.EVR said:

May I ask how much the calliper repainting was? I did ask about getting mine done (scintilla car was going to go lime green or yellow) but I got a price of many £000 was told it was cheaper to buy new callipers so didn't proceed.
Have a look at my caliper rebuild thread. Easy enough to strip down and then a local powder coater shouldn't charge much to blast and paint. New Frentech pistons and seals will be £200 for front and rear (V8V), so if you don't mind a bit of spattering you can get it done for approx £300.https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
