My mum had a Sunbeam Imp Sport, the sporty one with twin carbs, and 55bhp. Wow it seemed fast.
I passed my test and Mum lent me that car, 17 years old and three weeks after the test. That night I experienced my first oversteer, followed quickly by my first overcorrection, then my first spin, then my only experience of turning a car over

Ah, yes! Oversteer and over correction in an Imp! Such happy memories! I passed my test and Mum lent me that car, 17 years old and three weeks after the test. Never managed to roll mine though!

Wow that ramp's neat.
Personally, I would have the AM on the ramp though [& up in the air] - no chance of it getting crushed that way
You're wrong. The rationale of storage surely has to be based upon the likelihood of using it. Personally, I would have the AM on the ramp though [& up in the air] - no chance of it getting crushed that way
So faced with that dilemma how often do you reckon the speedster comes out? Would you really park up the V12V to get a porker out?
If that was my setup, unless it was snowing heavily the right hand door could stay closed, the power could fail and I'd still be happy.
