A really great day made all the better by a superb dinner the night before in the company of Ed50, IanV12VR, philmorton and their better halves.
No excuses for including a shot of my baby smile

Went down with my dad in his V8 Vantage S Roadster and met up with a group on the edge of the New Forest. Favourite shot of the day was this one of my personal favourite Aston Martin, the original Vanquish...

You appear to have got my little V12V winking in the background there! Bravo, Sir!

Cracking photos Rob, would you mind if I use/buy a couple of them (Magma red V12V) for my Patina profile?
What is a patina profile?
Getpatina.com is like Facebook for your car, well actually it's a lot more than that, it's a dedicated site/app to record and preserve a digitalised history of your car. The idea being to maximise the value of service history, restoration or modifications and photographic evidence of care, trips out and meets and whatever else you want to keep and share in one place.

Cracking idea to be honest.

The new section is huge, car advert data has been collected over the past couple of years and is available to sort, select and search for trends, should that be your thing, powerful tool, free too.

Not much on there at the mo but my 7 had the full suite of history from day 1.

They weren't particularly good from in the car - quickly came to realise that the V8 Vantage S suspension is quite a bit stiffer than his old V8 Vantage 4.7!

Two great cars together:

I'm gutted I missed the M3 convoy in the morning but the wife and I had a great time at Beaulieu. Saw some beautiful Astons and enjoyed the museum and grounds. We met Ed and his lovely wife at The Royal Oak afterwards. Both so friendly and had a great chat with them as well as with Jonathan the landlord. smile
Oh no! I must have just missed you guys at the pub (we left at about 1.30). We'll have to arrange the Highgate meet for a nice Spring weekend afternoon.
