Thanks for organising Tim and disappointed I missed the convoy.

Weather to blame for location - there were two groups of cars in really hidden places and even down at the Palace for HR Owen cars when eventually turned up was very remote. Gravelly area just about held 23 cars I thought with a bit of mud, so not too displeased with being in corner of arena. So pretty good turnout.

Seemed to be quite alot of people coming across to look at Rob's and the other GT8,

Apart from a 1922? racer, the museum is a bit short of Astons - new exhibits did include a Wraith and a Dawn Black Badge and a special edition McClaren.

Graham (V8Staffie) and I got their relatively early.

What amused us was listening to the cars coming down the drive. Any that sounded particularly loud we turned to each other and said "that's one for the Pistonheads car park". And it was almost invariably right

(Particularly your's Steve, could hear that one a mile away!)

Thanks for organising Tim and sorry I didn't get to say hello to anyone. Was 4th to arrive, so wandered over to meet AMOC crowd. PH area full when I came back to the car later. Very good turn out all round just to spite the weather. Red 10 was just fantastic!

I went & it was a really nice day. Despite the weather. Shame your cars were so hidden & my lens caught some of the rain but it was nice to see them (especially the GT8's) along with the rest of the 311 Aston Martin's that turned up! Yes, that's what i heard turned up!

Some superb cars on there , especially the Vantage Volante parked beside Red 10.

What surprised me was the amount of number plates that would fit nicely into the crap number plate thread , I thought us Aston owners would be above that worst of malarkey.
