Nice, is that an N420?

Welcome Clive. Beautiful. Enjoy your new Aston Martin.

EVR - I am intrigued how you identified the model N420, from the photograph?

The wheels first, same as mine. Then the sills, not quite like the V12 ones and only the N400 has those too as far as I know. Then squinted and I saw the chance of a carbon front lip and side strake! Enough evidence to assume it was an N420. wink

Clive - what number is yours?

Fitted new hatch bumpers.
Thanks to JonnyCJ as I didn’t realise the hatch should pop up enough to open easily.
Thanks to HWM too for sensible price and good service

After a few years away treated myself to Aston number four. A 2019 new Vantage incoming in the next week or so. Great service as always from the team at AM Edinburgh.

Yes it is thumbup
I'm biased, but the n420 is a good choice from the model range, I think. The one from McGurks?

I concur and of course I am biased too. biggrin

I really like the carbon bits and the more aggressive exhaust. With the secondary decats and Clive's remote, the soundtrack is just perfect.

I often see it as a "mini-DBS". smile

Had a N420 Roadster with lightweight seats for 3 years wished I had still kept it was a really good car.

Every time I see a picture of your car my initial reaction is; whats my car doing there? Although I've come to realise my front splitter has been replaced with a standard one. I need to see one in the flesh to decide whether to buy a replacement or not. Did you ever solve the tailgate rattle?

I'm a coupe man, but a roadster with lightweights sounds great.

It seems to me the tailgate rattle is better, I think messing around with the rubber bumper stops did something. I want to replace the felt on the adjusting bolts with an even thicker one just to add on it, will do it soon.

I have to ask EVR, have you ever found yourself in the tunnels round Garda in your mini-DBS?

Funny that you ask, because I will be there mid June for the 1000 Miglia!

I am acquainted with the tunnels around Lake Como so far. Last September, with some friends in a DB7 GTA and Mister Blu's Vantage Roadster. Everyone said the N420 was very... vocal. biggrin

Of course, i see it takes in Sirmione, but stays on the south side. I like the west side between Limone and Garda. There's such fantastic scenery round your lakes, particularly Garda, for me. I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Drool. That looks absolutely stunning. The black grille and black wheels look so right with the blue (Elwood ?). A perfect combination.
