I read the thread a few weeks ago but forgive my ignorance as an irregular visitor to the Aston area - I saw an Aston with a bonnet stripe going southbound on the M40 yesterday at around 1100. Was it one of you three?

I know it wasn’t me, one is out of the country and the other hasn’t been collected yet

Most AMR cars have been delivered now so it was probably one of those. Sorry Silverspeed and NeinFondue

Getting close to collection now - 28th all being well . Dealer is sending photos - keeps the excitement levels up - just ! Prefer to be driving it . Not long now - good things .....

So today was the day - rubbish weather but that wasn’t going to stop me . It seems like we started this journey years ago .....just a minute we did .
Thanks to Ian and Jonathan for their support and great friendship during the brilliant journey we have been on . Thanks to Aston Martin for making it happen and to the guys at Aston Martin Nottingham - it’s been challenging along the way but so worth it . Good things do come to those that wait .
The whole world knows our story so other than to say, in a very self indulgent way ,the car is wonderful wonderful wonderful ( still one if the best TG episodes ever) and posting a few photos of my car I think for the 3 AMRigos this might be the end of this story.. There again it might not !

About time Graham. Don’t know what has taken you so long just a shame you couldn’t drive out with the roof down but at least you have now got it home. Looking forward to seeing it at the weekend. It arrived just in time - phew! Let’s hope the sun shines so you can enjoy the full sound effect!

As for the journey - it has been great fun and we have ended up with three wonderful cars

Thanks for the comments. Don't know why some of the Orange accent colour has come out yellow in the pictures . Must have been contaminated by Ian's car

I thought you actually had a gradual tint from yellow to orange, now that would be cool.lol
