So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
Been out enjoying it after Paddy spent 2 days getting it looking great, to anyone who is contemplating having the paintwork on their pride and joy worked on I can really recommend him. He puts in a lot of hours and the result is a credit to his work ethic.
Apologies to Paddy though as my poor photography really doesn't do justice to his work.

The lunchtime track parade looked pretty pedestrian from where we were in the BRDC grandstand - did you get out of 1st gear? Lots of hurry up and wait too. We didn't do the lap because I forgot my DL. Last time I did a "parade" we got 4 laps, 3 without the safety car, and passing was allowed

You were lucky last year at Brands all we got was one slow lap and then we sat on the grid for 10 mins. before we were ushered off. Don't know how someone got the picture below Wasn't bothered though because only a month or so before I'd had a couple of hours on Monza Went to monthly breakfast meet at Shelsley Walsh
A couple of number plates to wind George up:
Some local colour:
Got our usual slot (always in good company but different every time). What about the registration on that French fancy - go on then - can anyone name the manufacturer (or what the reg number means )?

hing is they look pretty crass I've always thought if you have to place a strategic screw to make it mean anything it's means you can't afford a proper one!
indeed a 'strategic screw' is indeed a sad but sometimes interesting thing Page 100 of this thread I believe - changing the subject ;-)

It is not just George being 'wound up'.
I can usually see what a numberplate was, prior to the tampering, but need help to solve this one.
It cannot be W00 SSH, so the clues to solving this, must involve the black bolt head and the white bolt head.
If the second character is really an 8, then we have W80 SSH, which would be a legitimate registration. However if so, why use a bolt head in the W ?
To be able to own a shiny black Porsche probably involves hard graft, but mis-spelling whoosh risks a reprimand from our resident linguistic Professor Jockman.
