What a nightmare

You are far calmer than I would have been. I personally would have been in the showroom the moment any potential question about who was footing the bill came along and I would have refused to move until I knew what was happening. If that failed to grab their attention then the threat of the old 'don't buy anything from here' to over potential client would have done for me......

LOL..... I would normally be the same!! I am not the calmest of people when things go wrong. Just something told me that this one, shouting and ollering was not going to get it sorted.
I was able to keep my old temper at bay.
Im just glad that it is all sorted now... The car all fixed with the work guaranteed by AM and the car carrying a 2 year premium AM warranty.
Fingers crossed...

I am sure you are due some of that now
Good that the dealer did the right thing, whatever motivated them - you'll have your dream car, working - and if you are lucky - a dry weekend to enjoy it.

Good result Burntout. I think the Dealer done well by you, only mistake was not letting AM sort it in the first place. Good RESULT.
Thanks Cayman.. I did try to keep the car at Reading in the first instance, but to stick to the advice of trading standards I had to let the garage try and put it right... The idiots should have just left it there as they wasted all that money taking the car back and causing more damage... ha ha ha then having to pick up the bill... Again.. Honestly me and my Aston have had a rough ride from day 1...
