I probably should have made it clear I have no connection with AM (other than owning one) and I was just quoting from their service bulletin. I am pleased that it has provided some amusement smile

After 12k miles in a year with it in my last one I rechristened it laugh

See thats why I didn't go for a sports shift this time... couldn't stretch to ASM2 so went for a manual....

I spoke to Rick a while ago about a similar judder when moving off on my manual box V8VR, and he told me to do the same thing as has been described for the sportshift box! There is an audible click after about 10 seconds as well. He said the manual clutch also has to check the biting point
