IIRC air pressure increases linearly with temperature.
Indeed it does Boyles gas law

Surely you are thinking of Charles' law

Also I work in the compressed air industry as sensor with 3 decimal point accuracy over that range is WAY to large and expensive to put in a tyre. They only need 1 decimal point accuracy as temperature changes make anything else pointless.
That would be 1/1000, not 1/100I don't know what to tell you. My guy put 2.5 bar in my tyres, I got the diagnostics on the car and it gave me values of 2.48 to 2.51bar depending on the wheel.
Accurate enough for me.
And here is a screenshot of the display of my tyre pressures that I just grabbed from my car:
So 1/100th bar (or 2 decimal places if you prefer) isn't beyond the realms of the imaginable in a car.
Now please stop going out of your way to contradict me at every opportunity. It's getting embarassing.

£75 seems very cheap for a new TPMS sensor.
It looks like the manufacturer is Bendix. The AM part appears to be 1R12-360671-AC for the Vantage, but I have seen part number 1R12-36-10547 for the TPMS, too. Could be DB9? I can't find anything on the bendix cross reference tool.
Not much help, I'm afraid. I still think it's worth dropping a line to alloywheelsdirect. They were quite helpful when I asked them something.
Here is one for sale on ebay:

I've bought valves from this pace in the past, and the fitted the Vantage sensors.... They're on my car now...
They do 2 part numbers.... One is a black valve and the other silver/grey
5621460. Schwartz
5621461 Titangrau
I paid around €25 for 4 valves delivered to the UK

I would definately contact alloywheelsdirect but suspect they wont be able to beat the dealer price due to low volume purchasing. If you do get one then take photos of it so we can see the part numbers etc..

Hey, that looks like an A8, and you have VCDS. I love hacking my A8, and was pricing the components to add TPMS to mine just last night. It looks like a fairly straightforward job (much simpler than retrofitting the OEM reversing camera!) You pleased with the system?A set of 5 wheel sensors and valves for the A8 is £149 inc. shipping from the US, which is substantially cheaper than anything I could find in Europe.
That's an amazing price. Does it include the customs and VAT when imported?
Are you retrofitting? I'm not sure how straightforward it is. You might need the controller and the antennas installing in the wheel arches if they are not already fitted. You'll need a vagcom to retrofit if you want the DIS integration.
