Can't wait till mid March!!
Discussion
Sadly, dealers only was cars and slap some autoglym polish on it. They just don't have the time and skill to prep the car properly. From the factory, they look a mess. In my opinion, for the price of the new cars, the dealer should have the car detailed before collection.
Plus, make sure the film fitters are good. Find out who is doing it and find out who else has had it done.

You've guessed it, diamond polished graphite wheels - had some sleepless nights over the wheel choice, much to my other halfs amusement! Will probably be nearer the middle of march, as having the full ventureshield kit fitted, will post some pictures once I lay my hands on it!!
Giles, like many others, I am following your thread with interest. If I can ask, have you decided whether to have any paint detailing done before the ventureshield is fitted as Paddy328 suggested,,,and,,,have you chosen a local company to do the v/shield or one recommended further afield. I'm looking for the best options myself for both detailing and v/shield,,,,I'm close to Peterborough.PS: the graphite wheels, exactly my choice too,,after the sleepless nights!
I have a good relationship with the dealer organising delivery, and I have raised the concers mentioned in this thread. They assure me that he guy doing the venturesgield (a local guy in Kent) also does detailing, and will clean the car properly before applying it. I will inspect thoroughly on delivery and reject if necessary!!
Be interesting to see if they are right!!!
