in all cases Coupes can be changed to the other type of suspension available no cost or cost depending on model. Roadsters cannot be changed. The AM documentaton on SP10 Roadsters is definitive but that does not mean that is what they fitted I would also expect more SP10 Coupes than not to have the softer suspeneion as this was standard.
Now I just need to find one....J12MOC said:
It's [sports suspension] noticably harder than standard but not a tooth loosener! The standard suspension ( which I had on my previous roadster) is well judged and very capable - it's perfectly suitable for road use. If you plan to track the car a lot or want the ultimate on smoother roads then go for the sports setup. On poorer surfaces I think the standard does a better job. Just make sure you drive both over a variety of roads.
Smooth roads eh. Those were the days (in UK).My Vantage has standard suspension, and it is as firm as I would want for the poorly maintained roads now. Motorway surfaces are fine, but top class cornering ability is obviously not required then.

That is the Roadster J12MOC but read on for more confusion on that though you own one so should know. As you say the SP10 Coupe is the opposite which is different from the V8V S it is based on!
The V8V S Coupe has Sport Suspension as standard with the Comforst Suspension a no cost option (and Comfort Suspension is not available on the V8V S Roadster at all). (My input the Sport Suspension is firm but you get used to it, I think I would be happy with either suspension).
On the SP10 Coupe for reasons to confuse us all, the SP10 Coupe is fitted with 'Touring Suspension' with Sports Suspension an option.
(To further confuse the issue with SP10 Roadsters the dealer bulletins I have state that SP10 Roadsters will also have this Touring Suspension with no option to change to anything else).
To complete the set the 'standard' Vantage Coupe has Comfort Suspension as standard with Sport Suspension a £995 option. The 'standard' Roadster has Sport suspension with no option to change.
So as standard:
Vantage Coupe - Comfort
Vantage Roadster - Sport
SP10 Coupe - Touring
SP10 Roadster - Touring?
Vantage S Coupe (and N430) - Sport
Vantage S Roadster (and N430) - Sport

good research Hash ...... When I bought mine I specified sports suspension and was told that that's what was standard on the roadster. Touring wasn't mentioned at all. I'll try and dig out the specification sheet. As you suggest though, it's no guarantee that's what they fitted! My car had a label on it which listed a DAB radio as being fitted .....but it isn't!
I guess the thing to avoid is the 'comfort suspension' option (better to buy a DB9 ).
Rob (now joined the rif raf) had comfort on Pearl when he bought her and hated it. It's really quite soft. As an all 'rounder I agree standard is probably best.
Everything about SP10 was handled atrociously
From first suggesting it wasn't available in the UK, to suggestions about what transmission it would come with, I don't think you can rely on anything or make any assumptions- I was at Stratstones Wilmslow when cars the dealership had ordered before SP10 was even officially available in the UK started arriving with SP10 plaques under the bonnet - are they SP10 cars ? One person suggested they may even just have the wrong plaque on !
This post should not be interpreted as being in any way negative about SP10 as a model/car, but merely a cautionary post about making spec assumptions in relation to any SP10 vehicle......

I seem to recall Frankie DBS being told it was 50 - which I always thought seemed low.
Fyi my SP10 will be appearing at Works soon but no good for you as manual.
I think only just more than 50 V8 S variants were registered in the UK in 2013/2014 let alone SP10s so I think the number was lower. Note it was a 'special edition' though and not a 'limited edition' so they would have made as many as they could sell. Fyi my SP10 will be appearing at Works soon but no good for you as manual.
Works show a manual car on the AM official site but not on their own site so I assume sold (and they had two when they had Freddie's as well which sold to another PHer). There is also a manual on PH in Essax as well as the Cardiff SS model, I think both heavier on the miles than you would like but I would think still worth a look to at least to see how you like them and how well they wear etc.
I think the Stratstone car is sold, but at 16k in 12 months it's a bit too rich for me anyway. Apparently the car spent most of it's time in France.
As for the other one, do you mean the one for £72k with 18k on clock ? If so, the dealer looks like a scrapyard to be fair, so Christ knows where they've got that from (maybe i'm being unfair).
I'm potentially onto another example, but mums the word for now.......

Yes and whilst not wanting to judge a book by the cover I agree. As for the other one, do you mean the one for £72k with 18k on clock ? If so, the dealer looks like a scrapyard to be fair, so Christ knows where they've got that from (maybe i'm being unfair).

Works told me 50 too.By the way Frankie I just missed you down there today.
The staff were very surprised when I said "excuse me that wouldn't happen to be Mr B's car would IT ? "
I really wanted to hang around to say hello and thanks but sadly had to dash to get the kids.
