How to access drive log on satnav screen

To be honest, this certainly isn't any of my doing. And I doubt very much that it's any of the previous owner's either. This is my SP10's readout, and unless that little button marked with an 'S' does a lot more than I think it does, it's probably safe to say that the device's accuracy is somewhat questionable.
And this makes more sense than you realise. The first time I rolled that pic out I fessed' up that it was the previous owner. Knowing the name of said individual, I assumed he'd strapped a Nimbus-2000 to it's arse. Now It looks more likely that it's never been reset from factory and those numbers are retained info from manufacture.Octavarium said:

If the accuracy is anything like as good as a Garmin cycling GPS then it's very accurate. As Brent suggests I think there may be something in setup, calibration or whatever that registers a very high Vmax on those that haven't been reset. So let's all go out there right now, reset our Satnav stats, start the challenge now and keep this thread alive. In fact, let's make it a sticky so we are reminded to try harder every time we visit the forum. Not sure this is what they intended when they included the Vmax function on the Satnav but hey ho V8V Pete said:
So far yes although the margin is clearly small. Was that all your own work? Am I allowed to ask where you achieved such greatness? Before you answer that, does anyone know if the satnav records WHERE the car was when it achieved its all time Vmax?
Yes, it's possible. You can connect a Windows PC with the Garmin Program MapSource to the Garmin Unit in the back with a standard Mini USB Cable. The Navigation Systems asks, if it should connect in Garmin or Drive Mode. Choose Drive Mode. Now you can download the track of the movement of the car to your computer. The Tracks will be the one of the last weeks or months, dependend on how much you've driven the car.BTW, when I downloaded the History from my car when I got it, I could see, that they've transported the car from Gaydon to MIRA, to do 8 laps and then returning the car back to Gaydon :-)
P.S.: It could be possible that the newer Garmin Program "BaseCamp" works too, but I didn't test it.
