2018 24hrs of Le Mans

Ill be there, albeit stuck in the paddock working, but I think we are allowed to go out and play during the main race so hopefully bump into a few of you there!

We are doing AMR hospitality so will hopefully catch up with you when we do our pit visit. Here’s hoping that the cars run well.

We also attended the N24 this year and someone said the comparison between the pit Area at the N24 and LM24 is amazing so looking forward to the comparison.

our boxes in the n24 are nothing short of choas, same with Vln. Its a working environment that takes some getting used to to be honest.

The le mans garages are the proper job and everything youd Imagine from top level proffessional motorsport.

I think most of the aston stuff will be in tents not in the main pit, same as the porsches (akaik) were last year, so a pain for working but at the same time great for fans to get up close and personal witht the cars.

I note there has been a change to the Balance of Performance to help the new Vantage.
Hopefully will narrow that 5 second gap, during the Test Day.

Is that a change after qualifying 1? They look to be way off the pace at moment sadly!

Can't be after qualifying because Jon39 posted that earlier this evening. Q1 has only just finished and as you say they were something 16th & 17th...

Nicki Thiim, works driver, shows us behind the scenes at the circuit, and provides very detailed information about the new Vantage GTE.

He has a quirky style in front of the camera, but stick with it. You cannot deny his genuine enthusiasm for everything Aston Martin. Having previously made several films of this type, I guess he probably now has official encouragement from AMR to make more.

Found it. It's in a support race, something called the Aston Martin Festival. GT3, GT4, DBR9, Vulcan etc. A 45 min race on Saturday morning.
