Serious question.....best nicknames for Aston Martins?

Both my wife and I either call it the Aston or the Vantage.

Quite boring really however, both very fitting I feel.

To be fair this is valid for all sport/cool cars. I have attracted way more guys than girls with my cars in my experience.

Anyway, mine is the Aston and the Vantage as well. Sometimes the N420, when I want to be pedantic.

Boring, but being said while speaking Italian, it keeps this cool British vibe that I love.

Like many others the Vanq is usually referred to as 'The Aston'.

However my family and others enjoy calling it 'The Garage Princess' given the amount of attention it gets despite long periods in the garage

Mine’s called Thor. Based on my 2 youngest sons names - THomas and OscaR. Thought with that epic noise it was apt to name after the god of thunder.

Having said that everyone just refers to it as The Aston.

I always name my cars.

My V12 Vantage is called Verity (English, cool, fast)
My old Maserati Spyder is called Sophia (Italian, slightly older, curvy, looks great topless)
My Land Rover is called Ralph (English, goes anywhere, understated)

My AM is nicknamed Wanda after the movie A Fish Called Wanda. And no the car is not named after the fish because the fish lacks sensuous curves. In the same kind of rationalizing that I used to justify buying the car, she is also called 009 after the LM winner in 2007 even though her VIN is missing a zero but the last two digits are 09.

I tend to name my cars after their number plates. Even though some are tenuous. So the DB9 is “Vicki” being V12LRS, the Cygnet is “Kimi” being KM12ZSZ and the DB7 race car is “Wanda” since it’s original number plate was W496OJC (I.e. “WA”)
