I went to Simply Ford a couple of years ago in my 1968 Ford Cortina, once inside it was a good day out with a lot of cars to see and interesting folk to chat with.
Two drawbacks for me;
1) Getting in was a pain, they were allowing people to pay at the gate, and there was only one queue. So we sat in a long and very slow traffic jam to get in even though we had prepaid. And this made for a lot of old classic cars getting rather hot and bothered
2) The food choice once in was pretty rubbish. I would take a picnic if I was going again
Oh, and if it is sunny make sure you have sun cream as there is a lot of open space.
