I wouldn't touch any Aston thats had either a remap or if an after market exhaust fitted, to me it just says the cars been thrashed.......thrashed.....thrashed......
With that thinking you may as well include anyone who has fitted suspension upgrades, wheels or even things like N400 sills.rolleyes

You do understand that re-mapping is not just about increasing BHP but can also be used to increase MPG or if a
sportshift it can help with gear changes.

I agree with the views on not wanting a car that is not original.

I see it that Aston Martin (or any manufacture for that matter) has chosen what it has for a reason and I am happy with how they want it to be. Not someone who thinks they know better.

Regardless of the increase in power, you only have to look at the graph to see the flat spots ironed out to know it's going to drive better. The difference in smoothness of delivery low down is the aspect I am most happy with, it's shame the car wasn't like that when I bought it - could just be mine though...

Good point made about the GEO, do we class that undermining the vehicles originalty as I think that will be next on my list!

Interesting to hear views on it affecting value - Don't get me wrong, I'm not drilling the airbox and putting a cherrybomb on the back, that would be MAXPOWER!
