So what have you done with your Aston today?

10 minutes to spare,,,I haven't set eyes on her gorgeousness for two days,,,unlocked the car room door,,switched on the overhead lighting and oh my goodness there she is,,,,her Volcano red coat as alluring as her sensuous curves,,,absolute perfection. Squeezing the unlock button on the saphire key, I listen for the mirror motors to stop, opening the drivers door, I can feel the smile on my face widen. As I slide down into my seat (oh yes, it is 'my' seat) the sublime aroma of the finest quality leather fills my nostrils,,,I close the door and soak up the moment,,,in every sense, I have never been in a more totally satisfying place to sit. Her looks, the apitome of desirability, her power, in ample sufficiency, in every sense a fabulous moment, an utterly fabulous car.
Car dropped off (http://www.chicaneclassics.co.uk/contact/) for wheel refurb, front grill repaint as it was looking in a sorry state, new tyres (which were ordered via pneus.co.uk), disc brakes will be given a good clean, small crease in the passenger sill will be pulled out hopefully - after me grounding the car parking in a field the other week (don't ask !).
It was either this or sell and replace with a 4.7 Roadster

Having picked up my Aston V8VS on Saturday ( my first by the way). On Sunday I went on the London to Brighton Jaguar Run in the Aston he he
you are getting something wrong there - bring it to Wales to meet its V8VS cousin (also in Stratus) in 2 months time - you will be in better vehicular company and better scenery too Had the dodgy fake plastic pedal recall done while I waited - I'm sure its quicker now with genuine plastic.
And a top up of coolant.
Apparently there is an advisory on the petrol cap too, although no parts to do it, and the hose for the washer bottle needs shortening which explains why its a bugger to fill up.
