Actually this was yesterday,,,,here in a bracing northerly airflow of 15kts, air temp +2C, wind chill -3C, Francis, sporting his favourite really warm shorts, demonstrates his huge 'commitment' to the marque,,,a true stalwart. hehe

Such a beautiful day, unplugged the trickle charger, cracked open the car room door, headed for the high road and gave Vesuvius her head,,,,jees I'm a lucky bloke.

It would be very rude to call that a garage! Love the picture of your car with the Centenary badge on it. Fabulous yes
Ian thank you,,,this headrest embroidery (courtesy Bamford Rose) ensures that in the distant future, should ever the plate be sold, Vesuvius will remain very much a Centenary car.

Its a great space. What is the floor please? It looks like carpet. biggrin Also, do you ever reverse the car in? I've got a similar narrow doorway and I haven't plucked up the courage to try backing it in yet.
Flooring is Modena Andesite 404, go here to see more: http://www.polyflor.com/modena

"In" no but out, well yes, every time. Actually its not that narrow, its a long way from the camera. smile

Spent 2 and a half hours under a high cloud sky (perfect) bringing Vesuvius back to a pristine shine after her gallops around Cadwell Park on the 30th, it feels so good.

Opened the car room door, switched on the lights, smiled, walked over to the G-Tech sweeper, unplugged it and switched it on,,,whilst not taking my eye off Vesuvius, scanning every inch of her perfect form, I pushed the sweeper up, down and around, nothing but a lonely incy wincy could I find, so he had to have it. Parked the sweeper, punched the dehumidifier On button,,,still smiling, strolled back to the door to switch off the lights,,,then with the decorum one must employ when leaving a room after an audience with a Royal, I turned and bowed towards her gorgeousness, reversing out of the door closing it firmly but quietly as I went.

Witness a man, living his dream.

Vesuvius gone to BR, her home from home; High time she enjoyed a well deserved health check, that she's still pumping out every single one of those scrumptious 580 bhp's.

I hope you enjoyed St Tropez. I live here, drop me a pm next time and we'll have a drink or two! Lots of Porsche's and Ferrari's down here but surprisingly few Astons.
Is that cos they're made in England,,,,tongue out More likely because they lack the flamboyance of their continental cousins.
