^^^^ The lower half is not attached to anything on the car. The thing I have noticed is that the OEM N420 diffuser is made of many more layers of carbon and is very rigid whereas the aftermarket clones are way thinner and have some flex in them that makes them feel a bit flimsy. Also, the OEM piece has a beautiful seam down then centerline which makes the part have a symmetrical design to the weave pattern. None of the clones seem to replicate this.

mmm interesting.
I'm going to get my mrs to drive it at speed with me sitting behind to see if it flaps at all.
I don't think it would be too much work to attach some kind of support.

Hi, yes worried me too at the start. Then after testing it, it is (in my opinion only) absolutely fine and does not move much in the wind due the the air-travel dynamics under the car. I have as example been on Silverstone GP circuit at 130+ MPH. My main area of concern was air cooling the gearbox and this is fine too.

Karl I agree with you on flimsy. This product is still however very nice. I kind of feel it is fair to say, that no one in the right mind gets under our vehicles to look at the carbon marquetry of our carbon fibre. Cost vs. aesthetic decision for me, performance is not affected.

^^^^^ as many on this forum can attest, no one has ever accused me of being in my right mind, therefore, I would be the one looking for the carbon symmetry. smile

Drove from South of Turin to Monte Carlo. Have a look in the "spotted thread" for something shocking I saw there!
