120 scratchchin seemed like several thousand! I was at the front and cars were still streaming onto the track b y the time we'd got round the circuit and sat there for 10 mins. hehe

Hopefully finally solved why my Vanq' wipers stopped. The connection to the wiper motor lives near A Bank rear chimney and is subject to heat and cold cycles and after 12 years formed a bit of corrosion around the pins. I opened the block gave the pins a bit of a clean squirted some contact cleaner and reassembled, all now fine.

ETA, a blast out this morning doing Hindhead tunnel both ways, looking for the Surrey group who were going for an early morning run followed by breakfast. Didn't see you?

I cleaned my car. We didn't have any car cleaning stuff though (obviously) so I used Sainburys own brand lemon flavoured washing up liquid.

It actually looked cleaner than I had ever seen it scratchchin

hehe

You do realise that has stripped ALL the wax etc off the paint leaving it with no protection wink

You do realise that there was no wax etc on the paint to protect it in the first place..? smile

I have no paint bubbling and no mirror mount corrosion. I think there is a correlation. People, DO NOT clean your cars, and if you do, use cheap household products, like bleach yes
