hehe

You do realise that has stripped ALL the wax etc off the paint leaving it with no protection wink
You do realise that there was no wax etc on the paint to protect it in the first place..? smile

I have no paint bubbling and no mirror mount corrosion. I think there is a correlation. People, DO NOT clean your cars, and if you do, use cheap household products, like bleach yes
hehe I did think afterwards you are only going to go and get dirt on it for paint protection wink

Took her in for steering wheel vibration - balancing was out much to everyone's surprise (except mine; had predicted that was the issue) and got a free recall replacement of accelerator pedal at the same time. A pillar trim bulging slightly so that was an email referral to AM HQ and probably a replacement (in about 8 weeks when they have hunted down and killed enough alcantara animals!)

Unusual to need a rebalance maybe it lost a weight?
BTW they will be a lot long than 8 weeks if they are hunting alcantara animals as it is synthetic!

Noooooooooooo ouch!!!
That's my biggest worry too as the alloy sits proud of the rubber.
Hope it's an easy mobile company fix?

Spent the afternoon out in my courtesy car. Top down motoring seems to agree with me and having had Mikey's lesson on mastering the ASM2 gearbox, I'm converted! Jurassic coast was wonderful in the sun.

You should have trained your wife !
I have .
On nearing the kerb my wife exits the car and guides me in, gives me a good reason for taking her out.

Booze cruising in it... It's living at work so I used it to go to Fullers brewery to order the wedding beer and then to Majestic to order 25 bottles of Pimms and 96 bottles of fizzy plonk.

Obviously will pick them up in the Disco later rolleyes

Exactly! I keep getting people knock on the door saying they are doing a drive round the corner and do I want mine doing. Bloody cheek - does it look like it needs doing biggrin

Nothing today ... but doing this on the weekend ....

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Why mention this here & now?

.....because Retman can't make it (bless him) so .... if your plans for the w/end aren't looking very exciting - get in touch - you could be coming to Wales for some good clean Aston-driving fun!
