Snetterton exclusive track day for your Aston,,,,,19th Sept.
Discussion
Bob, maybe an option to offer astonauts if they want to bring a different marque of car perhaps to get numbers up? I appreciate that maybe a non-starter (as it is an Aston Trackday), but people like Seemon has an S2000 that I am sure he would happily rag around the track and pay money.
Just a thought, obviously your day.

No objections from me, a dash of colour and variety would be fine with me. No gold Fiat busses though.
Spoil sport, I was going to hire a Fiat 8 seater and see if I could beat Neil AGAIN Seriously though if you find 9 others then I guess it drops the cost by £100 per person on the day, but people may wish to pay extra and have more exclusive use?

That obvious huh
At 300BHP it has no chance, however if it were wet
Hmm, methinks you are being modest! At 300BHP it has no chance, however if it were wet
The S2000 only has 240BHP but I think it would hold its own. Straights would be a nightmare but corners would be fun
I would prefer the option of those that have signed up already to be able to offer a place or 2 to their local Main Dealer for them to offer to one or two of their preferred customers. That way it would be an Aston Track Day like the last one. (And I have had a good relationship with my main dealer for nearly 15 years so it would be nice to offer them something).
I have a concern that someone in another Marque may at some point try to prove a point.. "My ******* is faster than your Aston" for example.

Whilst anyone attending in another marque will have at some point owned an Aston and would therefore not be trying to prove any points, it is fair comment and it should really be an Aston day as that is how it was planned.I have a concern that someone in another Marque may at some point try to prove a point.. I blame myself Tony,,,we all know how easy it is to agree to do something 6 months before the event. I was intending to ask for payments on Monday next,,,,I'll do the maths and post up the cost per car @ what ever number we have entered on the 1st Sept. Anyone that would like to join us after that date can do so but will need to make a request/payment direct to the circuit event organisers.
It'll come good Bob, not getting rid of me easily . As for late joiners if we are hiring the circuit shouldn't they reduce the cost per head rather than it going into the pocket of the circuit? For me I don't care what cars turn up as long as we know who they are or are friends of people who are signed up already. Whenever I have told people I am doing a trackday in the AM they all think it's risky but I counter that we all know each other and that makes a massive difference. Anyway let's hope we can get numbers up as we don't want a cost starting with a 4 or approaching that as that would be problematic methinks.
