Geneva road trip & tour of JLC Manufacture
Discussion
Sent an email to you all regarding another exciting component to the trip
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture is working on a video called “Follow The Drive” to celebrate the double anniversary (180 years of Jaeger-LeCoultre and 100 years for Aston Martin). It will be released after a similar trip they are organising for journalists later in April.
The Manufacture has asked if we would be interested in participating in this video (official brand video for their partnership with Aston Martin) and allow them to take some video footage and pictures while we're at the Manufacture.
They would be working these parts with us:
· Footage of all cars driving in front of the Manufacture
· Footage of all cars parked in front of the Manufacture or another spot but all together
· Footage inside a car
· Car Close up footage
It will be a nice end to our visit.

A DBS with a U-Haul trailer on the back - that would look great oh...and a travel plug....

We just need to make sure we head out of Calais to the autoroute and then stop at the first service stop where we can re-group and set off in smaller groups - perhaps three groups of 6 and one of eight. If anyone isn't staying in Folkestone then you should aim to be at the Eurotunnel by 6:00am. Look out for clusters of Astons and you'll very likely find us
I will be arriving in Folkestone around 9:30pm and am looking forward to seeing you all and to the trip. to bring together some previous comments, it will be an Epic Blast!
PS. Not what Nick said - what Yeti said!!!!

Greetings from Beaune!
My wife and I have formed the advance party, and am looking forward to seeing he massed ranks of Astons tomorrow in the centre of Beaune.
Unfortunately the weather is a bit grey and damp, but what the hell.
Drinking Burgundy and talking Astons should more than make up for it.
Looking forward to putting some faces to the names and cars.
See you all tomorrow.

Sunny here again today so I hope it follows us south. Supposed to be raining this evening and tomorrow morning though

Hi Guys

Thanks
I've only ever been to Geneva around watch related things so I've not explored much. Here's Tripadvisor's take on 40 things to see:Could you tell me if there is much to do or see in Geneva (apart from the Lake)? Planning to go in June but not sure how to spend there

If you want a great meal I can recommend Le Chat-Botte in the Beau Rivage Hotel (http://www.beau-rivage.ch/uk/index.php#le-chat-botte.php). A nice hotel is the Hotel President Wilson (http://www.hotelpwilson.com/en/) with rooms that have a great view of the lake.
