V12 Vantage Register
Discussion
Spotted - Deddington Oxon overnight last night (still there on market day this morning)
V12VGT.
As an old git who loves cars; I stopped and gawked at it like a star struck schoolboy. It's in a pearlescent blue, and has obviously done some fast road miles through foul weather. Amazing just how aggressive it looks.

Thanks Paul, I have limited info on this one but can confirm it's #379 in Mako Blue like mine. V12VGT.

Looks like not many so many left out there now, so to keep you register up to date, just finalised the deal on VIN# 1133 (should not have taken the test drive...just like so many have already said, once tried, our original idea of a V8 fell by the wayside, thanks to some 'Man Maths')

To complete the Register entry for this car:-
1) Are the sports seat inserts leather or alcantara?
2) Does it have a bright finish grille?
3) Who is the supplying dealer?
4) PICTURES!!!
Much appreciated

So what build numbers are we up to now Phil, as it seems production is finished.
Would that also suggest that there will be no 100th anniversary V12V either?
All seems quiet on the anniversary cars in general.
Hi Ivan, the highest number V12V Coupe I have is #1304 and the highest V12V Roadster is #1324.Would that also suggest that there will be no 100th anniversary V12V either?
All seems quiet on the anniversary cars in general.
However, as far as Coupe numbers go, the Roadster and Zagato vins are taken from this series too, therefore at 1324 cars, 101 of these are Roadsters and I have identified 10 Zagatos - there may be more of these built currently (or all!).
So maybe around 1200 coupes built?
Cheers - Phil
Hi Phil:
In answer to your q's:
1) Are the sports seat inserts leather or alcantara? - Leather silver stitched (my Better Half wanted full leather and as she is paying 1/2, I can't complain!)
2) Does it have a bright finish grille? - nope, standard at the mo. and I like it like that, but might change to carbon black once the carbon strakes are on)
3) Who is the supplying dealer? - HR Owen Cheltenham - top service from all there I have to say
4) PICTURES!!! - I know, but dont have any yet!! will post up as soon as we take delivery (end next week)
Cheers,
Andy

anniversary cars being drip fed - vanquish first, then Rapide in Shanghai earlier this week, v8 vantage & db9 to follow - they announced from the outset those would be the modelsAll seems quiet on the anniversary cars in general.
Not sure how an SP10 and centenary V8 fit together in s short space of time between launches
The anniversary rapide S is in white, again graduated to a darker colour in places, with the sterling silver badges, plaques, etc
There is speculation on other threads about a V12V with 2 pedals, a V12V with the new vanquish engine, or possibly one/both of those things happening in conjunction with new vantage but nothing concrete as yet
Meanwhile with no more new orders on V12V being accepted, AML have once again turned something into a disaster un-necessarily. Instead of upsetting all those who bought V12V on the basis there would only be 1,000 made and then dropping the pledge, they could have given a different designation to those sold in America (which was never initially planned as being a market for this car) and kept the 1,000 pledge for European Homologated markets......the devil is in the detail !

Indeed, and if there are only c1200 in total and I expect that there was >200 sold in the USA this would mean that the total for the rest of the world has ended up <1000 after all. Still as you mention it did miff off a few people when they originally dropped the 1000 limit!Phil - do you have any numbers to back up my assumptions on the USA numbers?
