I taking it that youre not entirely keen....?
A few of us were thinking of venturing up there for a track day, Could I ask why you dont like it.? Croft is nearer anyhow!
I went there a couple of times in my M3 CSL. I even picked one of their 'Hot Marques' days in order to reduce the chance of being punted off my a souped up Clio. That didn't help though - there were plenty of crappy little hatchbacks on the day. And, by and large, they were driven by people who had scant regard for the rules or for other track users.A few of us were thinking of venturing up there for a track day, Could I ask why you dont like it.? There was overtaking on the left and right, into corners, under braking, on the hairpin, everywhere. And there wasn't a red or black flag to be seen anywhere. If there were marshallers present, they didn't seem to be concerned about enforcing the (safety) rules.
So, no thanks, not again.

Love your wheels, I have the same pattern but all silver.
Any info on the 2 tone treatment please ??
Tim, Speak to the guys at SWWR (Richard gave you their card). When I popped into Grange on the way home from our lunch Lloyd showed me a brand new car where the owned wanted something similar doing on his V8S alloys but the factory do not offer as an option. Rather than go to Q the owner ordered the silver wheels and they went to the local firm who looked to do a great job and can probably do exactly what you are looking for. They did my alloys on the Merc and did a great job. Well worth having a chat to to see if they can help.Any info on the 2 tone treatment please ??

If James1927 can't tell you anything, I certainly can. "19-inch cast alloy rims with V-shaped spokes in a diamond turn finish and painted in high-gloss black"
Would be cool if you could recreate the same finish!

Bought this V8 Vantage S bumper and Carbon Fibre Splitter which is getting painted and fitted next week together with new V8S wheel arch liners, V8S undertray and new 6 slat Carbon Black Grille
I also sold my old bumper, Bright Finish 8 slat Grille, wheel arch liners to a really nice bloke who's wife damaged the front end of her V8VR.My good deed for a fellow Aston owner

As we already know, these wheels are manufactured by Rimstock. If you return your wheels to Rimstock, they will refurbish them in whichever finish you want. I know this because I had a selection of different wheels refurbed as a graphite set:
You could, as Ian suggests, obviously take your wheels to another wheel specialist (and get whatever finish you want). I was particular about Rimstock because I wanted the OEM factory finish.
I hope this helps.

Nice paint finish, can you give details? What wax did you use?
They are an OEM wheel:James1927 said:
I didn't treat them myself, they came as standard on the SP10..
