Neighbour also has 2006 manual and wait for it. .... 92k still on first clutch and he's no miss daisy.

Is the neighbor the first owner and really knows its the original clutch? ...still I guess it could have done 50K easy motorway miles early in its life ....

2006 manual, 57k miles.
just starting to show signs of wear. Pulling away in 1st to quickly, dropping to 2nd from third, some clutch slippage occurring.
Won't be long now before a replacement is necessary.
I'd make it sooner rather than later Steve... as I understand it, and happy to be corrected, from the first sign of wear to no progress available is not a very long period!just starting to show signs of wear. What's the betting you put the Vantage in for a clutch... and come out driving a DBS?
Mine went in to BR for 6 year service and came out with a new clutch... and I hadn't even sensed it was on its way out....Adrian showed me the old one .......and it was frightening.... barely anything left of the friction material.... classed as a near miss I think.

Not always, I got from France back to London on a slipping clutch, not easy, but it didn't give out totally. Thought I might as well give it a go to at least get back to UK before calling tow truck, and made it all the way home.

Clutch replaced just (literally) before I bought it at 17k miles. Replacement carried out by non AM garage
Said clutch then reverted to component form 900 miles later - equivalent of slave cylinder self destructed, sprayed fluid everywhere, car stuck in gear. Replaced (with new friction plate) by JCT in Leeds, courtesy of AM parts warranty.

Clutch just gone-34K. No slippage,no warning. All of a sudden no drive. Luckily inside lane of a dual carriageway & rolled into a layby, but had to wait 4 hrs for RAC flatbed!!! Wife was not happy!!!!!!!.Now with Grange who were quite positive it was the clutch saying they have had this B4.(I do hope its nothing more serious) Can't drive anyway as had knee op today & now on crutches!!!!!! Can't wait for the invoice!

2007 V8V manual clutch went at 9000 miles. Two months after taking over ownership.
Holy crap, what were you doing to that poor clutch? I wore mine half down in about 6k miles, with lots of London traffic crawl. I think it went at 20k ish, but not really sure now - my memory is rubbish
Had the BR multiplate job for about 3-4k, and no sign of wear at all.
