I can now also confirm I have booked BENTLEY GOLF COURSE in Brentwood for lunch for arrival at 13.30. Enough time for us to chill at Aston Brentwood and drive around some great country roads as a convoy. It was recommended to me by a fellow McLaren owner and they have plenty of parking. They do a 3 course traditional Sunday lunch for £15.95 and should be a great venue to relax and admire the cars in. They also have a bar.

Their website:

Sample menu:

Hope quite a few of you can make it. Will make for a great Sunday!

Hi Nij.

It looks like I could make it on the way to a lunch somewhere else - hoping to join you for a quick coffee and hello. Is that OK?

Are you accepting intruders in Italian cars? I am looking after my son's Italian car this week and would probably come in that, also if OK.

All the best.
Hello my friend, yes you're more than welcome! We have a few Italians and a couple of Germans gatecrashing. Be good to see you again - I will add you to my spreadsheet.

Tried to register on Evevtbrite page but I needed to register.
As you know I like to travel incognito so aim to keep a low profile.
Were you in King's Cross today? I saw a bald man with a scarf walking down the road... wink

Don't worry, I've added you to my spreadsheet. All I need to know is whether you'll be bringing any passengers, whether you'll be joining us for lunch and whether you'll be going straight to Brentwood or meeting up with some of us earlier at King's Cross.

smile
Don't know.....don't know.......straight to Brentwood.
Bald man with a scarf.....that narrows it down a bit.
Now if you saw a cool dude with an even cooler haircut, sporting a silk Moshino cravat............It wasn't me ....and if it was ......it wasn't me.

Bentley Golf Course - does this mean I have to wear my plus-fours and a highly patterned sweater?

I'm in too, the WAG may or may not join but as usual no clear answer from her yet!

Being Brentwood, should I tippex my teeth? (I'm already rather naturally tanned).

As she missed the last one my WAG is being forced to come this time. Being partial to a bit of Only Way is Essex hopefully she can spot some local "celebs" while I "accidentally" run them over... biggrin

Now I'm confused - can't decide between the lime green trousers and the pink shell-suit???

Dagenham - shell suit!

That's great! Can you get him to sign up at the Eventbrite page?

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/brentwood-breakfast...

I think we've literally filled up all the spaces... Might have to leave one of my cars to make space for anyone after this...! smile

Not sure if you were aware but there is such a thing as Towie Tours.
I just looked in my internet favourites and chopped (that's Essex speak for cut and paste) the below.
I am waiting for confirmation as to how they knew?

Come and visit some of the locations from the hit ITV show – The Only Way is Essex. This unique tour is a great way to get closer to the cast and characters from the hit show and will be the closest thing to being in an episode of TOWIE. Sometimes we even have geezers wiv nice motors bowling about the gaff with names like Ace n El Toro n Nij n Stevejay n V8staffie init I fault they must be Avinalarf. But its real n reem I am not sausagin ya either!

With locations scattered across Essex, this four hour mini-coach tour is the most ‘reem’ way to see the sites.

You’ll have the chance to get out of the bus on several occasions, take pictures and browse inside a few of the shops owned by current and former cast members, shops which have also featured in the show! Selfies are mandatory especially around the Astern Marteen garidge opposite LIDL.

This tour is a great way to see the county of Essex, as our guide shows you the sites from the show.

Along the way, we’ll test your knowledge of TOWIE with our trivia quiz(spelling your name right often wins it) and you’ll have the chance to watch episodes as you travel between locations.

The Only Way is Essex Tour will finish back at Brentwood railway station. Where coaches are laid on to go to a local golf club where you are able to run about as nature intended near the "Bentley"
Watch those speed cameras en route from Kings X

Not sure how much of that is true Staffie old son but I DO KNOW that coaches of "Northern Lasses" come down at the weekend for exactly those TOWIE tours ! -o

'Her Ladyship, who lives in a nearby village, tells the story of one such group, who having travelled down, completely ignored Prince Charles & Camilla who were visiting the Brentwood School that day - because they were too excited to see some dopey "silicon-invested" half-witted woman working in her beauty parlour on the Wilsons Corner rarrndabout !

I don't think Grange is near Lidls - it's opposite the rather nice Bull Public House. The local Lidls does however offer a rather nice Argentinian Malbec (I appreciate possibly a tad too much tannin for some) and an excellent selection of white truffles. Not that the Newcastle lasses were interested in those either !

Hopefully, the Ivy Osborne whelks stall from Leigh on Sea, will be at Grange Motors again on Sunday.

Another thought, maybe Avinalarf could get get his back, sack and crack done by that Amy Childs whilst he is down here - so that top and bottom match. ;-)

All spaces have now been taken, in fact we've actually gone over slightly. Oops.

These event seem to be getting bigger and bigger. Need to keep finding bigger venues...! smile

I can confirm we have 17 Astons, 9 McLarens, 3 Ferraris, 3 Lamborghinis, a Porsche and an Audi.

I had thought that the comments on this thread had sunk as low as possible.....it appears not.
FYI my b.s and c are perfectly fine, however my chest is covered in delightful hairyness,I have occasionally thought about having a wax but as my powerful attraction to women is still enviable I am not that bothered.
