I don't follow.....you can have any colour you want and, unless things have changed, you always could.
I seem to recollect the dealer showing me a brochure - yellow was not on it. And no mention of "specials". But that was a long time ago so I may be wrong!

Naa - not yet!

Haven't had the time to think about it TBH. Hopefully I can start concentrating on V8V buying again soon, though! If the yellow one's still around, who knows? wink Although I'd need to try the sports seats out first before going all the way up to Yorkshire and the local dealer(s) don't have any in with them at the moment, but that's for a whole different thread I'm sure!
I'll keep you posted ...

That car has the lightweight bucket seats - the sports seats are the ones fitted as standard to most cars. IMHO the bucket seats are considerably more comfortable than the sports seats even though they have less adjustments. I could never get comfy with the sports seats in my V8V but I absolutely love the buckets in my V12V. They also look a whole lot more sporty than the sports seats and really really finish this car off, as I said earlier Ive seen it and its a very nicely spec'd car. The only downside is if you are of a "larger frame" then you might not fit into the bucket seats, but I am 6' tall and weigh just under 13st and easily fit into them with plenty of space to spare!

I find the standard seats very comfortable personally, although the longest I've sat in one so far is 15 minutes! I do suffer from back problems to some extent (nothing serious), so seat comfort is of paramount importance to me. I agree the buckets do look good - my biggest concern would be the inability to adjust the rake of the back relative to the squab, although if I understand correctly you can "tip" the whole seat at various angles by raising or lowering at the front and back.
Do they have adjustable lumber support as well?

Lightweight seats do have lumbar support.

You pull the front of the seat off (attached via velcro) and underneath are some lumbar supports that you simply move up or down according to where you require them (honest).

I can vouch for the lightweight seats after having the standard sports seats, they are more supportive but as stated earlier you need to be fairly slim to fit in them.

You need to sit in them for 1hr journey then - I found them ok for a few mins, but lenghtly journeys always ended with lower back pain for me. I have had no problems whatsoever with the lightweight seats. I love them! smile

This now seems to have shifted to topic on seat choice!! I love the yellow car but would need to make sure it was genuinely the deep yellow colour rather than light yellow seen in the ad.

So far as seats are concerned if you are ever planning child seats the manual says you should not do this with the lightweight seats. May not be important to you but for me it was with a 4 and 2 year old to consider. So stuck with sports seats and have to say no problem with them.
