I'm not a fan of the Vantage grill, neither of them, that said this effort probably makes the best of it. Looking at some of the efforts posted using the configurator I don't think this dull silver colour does the car any favours at all, it looks far better in the dark colours.

With apologies to anyone here who owns one, the front looks like a catfish.

It was a while since I've caught such a Fish, was in Belgium lol, as a kid 40 years orso ago.

But indeed, its big, it wants to eat other cars I guess.

I always like to see the new models, using design cues from past Aston Martins.

Blimey - that is hideous. Nothing left of the understated elegance of the previous V12V. This is just vulgar.

Note to Aston Martin: design some more attractive, elegant alloys please!

Mclaren, Ferrari and Porsche all have options on their core models that are far superior.

Twin-supercharging the engine, in addition to the very favorable side effect of being awesome, gives the car "rapid power," as Kelly put it, and said it even has low-down throttle response because they could tune the boost down from 2,000 rpm. Right now, the engine is making under 700 hp, which, in Kelly's eyes, is "on the low side."

But the team has a plan. By the next round—which will be Formula Drift Atlanta on May 6 and 7—it hopes to have a new engine ready to go. That unit will be a 6.8-liter, twin-supercharged V12 that'll put out between 1,000 and 1,100 hp. "We made a custom crank for the bottom, which strokes the motor to 6.8 liters,"

Interesting it doesnt have all the running boards (can’t unsee that now!) /aero kit as on the new V12, wonder what the performance will be like after they add that??? getmecoat

The team in charge choosing this spec should be fired. It seems they've choosen the worst colour and colour combination for the in- and exterior.
This spec looks dull and uninspired. Couldn't think of a worse spec for such a halo car.

Not a great effort of the AM design team :-(

I`m in this camp with you guys too, such a mediocre effort, dull silver, red, white and carbon all competing for you attention, it`s a dog`s breakfast. Even the infamous Lime Essence would have been a much better choice here with the sporting undertones.

Spotted in Canary Wharf yesterday. Lifted from a post in one of the AM Facebook groups, not my own photos.

Wow, so much better than the silver car! I think its clear the new V12V is going to suit lairy colours much better. Anyone playing it safe with a traditional AM favourite may in fact be taking a big risk. biggrin

I thought Aston Martin said they were all sold.
Why are they parading a car in London, that no one can buy?

Marked parking bays in combination with double yellow lines. That is a new one to me.
Wonder if the Mayor of London knows what that means ?

That's the press car, will be reviewed soon. It's a brand exercise to create desire for more affordable models.

The black bonnet lids that Aston's PR dept. are specifying are, in my opinion, dreadful.

It is exposed carbon fibre, not black paint biglaugh

It is stunning and one of the essential spec items along with exposed carbon fibre roof and rear wing IMHO that define the V12V apart from its lesser and half the cost sibling. wink

Whatever it is, my opinion differs. hehe

They go from a vast, featureless bonnet with a couple of small vents appearing as an afterthought, to this. Might work with a black car maybe, I dunno, haven`t seen it in real life but it doesn`t inspire me in images.
